Chalapathi Institute of Engineering & Technology admission 2023 is done either on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam or the entrance exam. The entrance exams accepted by CIET for admission include AP EAMCET for BTech and GATE/ AP PGECET for MTech. While 70% of the seats are filled under the convenor quota through entrance exams, the remaining 30% of seats are filled under the management quota based on merit in the qualifying exam. The seats for CIET admission under the convenor quota are filled through respective entrance exam counselling.

CIET Category A Admission Process
- The seats will be filled on the basis of the entrance exam (AP EAMCET for BTech and GATE/ AP PGECET for MTech).
- Candidates will have to register for the exam and qualify for the same.

- Candidates will need to submit their documents for verification and pay first year fees to complete the admission.
CIET Category B Admission Process
- The seats will be filled on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who fill the eligibility criteria must apply for admission in online or offline mode.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called to the CIET campus where they will have to submit their documents for verification and pay first-year fees to complete the admission.
