Regulation-1-Direct admission for those who have attained 18 years of age without any prior educational qualification. But must know to read & write Kannada/English/Hindi/Marathi for theory papers.

Regulation-2-PUC Pass / Equivalent.

BFA or any other qualification Equivalent / 5 years Diploma with 3 years of Art Field experience /Teaching in appropriate Field A.M. (Art Master) G.D Art with 5 years field experience / equivalent / 3 years diploma with 10 years field experience / Direct admission for those who have five years field experience with any Bachelor degree (as per M.O.U).
