The candidate must have passed the 10+2, i.e. I.S.C./ intermediate examination, or its equivalent, from a recognized board (CBSE/ ISC/ State Board etc)
Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology (which include practical test) and mathematics in their last two years of study
In addition to this, the candidates should have also passed in English subjects as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training.
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of 50%) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology, taken together
Candidates should have also secured a minimum of 50% (for SC/ST/OBC candidates a minimum of exactly 40%) marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects in the qualifying examination.
Only those candidates who have been declared qualified in NEET-UG conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education shall be considered eligible for admission to the MBBS programme. However, the selection will be made on the basis of merit.
Selection for the MBBS program will be done on the merit base.
A candidate, who holds an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree approved by Medical Council of India (MCI) or from any of the State Medical Councils after completing a compulsory internship, are eligible to apply for the admission
A candidate after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or the foreign medical degree recognized by MCI), is undergoing a 12-month compulsory rotating internship and is likely to complete the same by 31st March of the admission year, can also take admission to the MD program.
The candidate must produce a certificate from the head of the institution that he/she will be completing an internship by 31st March of the admission year. But he/she will not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31st March of the admission year.
The candidates who have obtained M.B.B.S degree from the Medical Colleges which are not recognized by MCI shall not be eligible to appear in this test.
Selection will be done on merit base
The MBA eligibility criteria at SRHU states that the candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or college. The aggregate marks scored by the applicant in their undergraduate degree should not be less than 50 per cent. Students from all streams and disciplines can apply for SRHU MBA admissions. Additionally, they must have also appeared for an entrance exam that is accepted by Swami Rama Himalayan University for conducting admissions like CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT.
The selection of candidates for MBA admissions at Swami Rama Himalayan University is done in several rounds. All applicants have to go through the SRHU MBA selection process for getting final admission. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in the competitive management entrance exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, etc. The shortlisted students are called for rounds of personal interview and group discussion. The final selection of students is done on the basis of their performance in the group discussion and personal interview.
In order to clear the BBA eligibility criteria of SRHU, the candidate must have cleared class 12th in the regular mode from a school that functions under a recognised state or central board of education. English should be a compulsory subject at the 10+2 level and the aggregate marks scored by the candidate should not be less than 50 per cent.
Candidates are shortlisted for SRHU BBA admissions on merit basis. Marks scored by applicants in the qualifying examination are considered while selecting them. The admission committee of the programme gives a personal counselling session to all the shortlisted candidates before offering them admission to the programme.
For admission to B.Com at SRHU, the candidate must have cleared class 12th or its equivalent examination with English and Economics/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Computer Science as two of the compulsory subjects. The aggregate marks secured by the candidate at the 10 + 2 level should be a minimum of 50 per cent. marks in aggregate.
The selection of candidates for B.Com at SRHU is done based on the marks obtained by them in class 12th.
In order to be eligible for MCA at SRHU, the candidate must be a graduate in any stream or discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in graduation when taken in aggregate. Mathematics must be a compulsory subject either at the 10 + 2 level or the graduation level. The bachelor's degree received by the applicant must be from a recognised university or college.
Admission to MCA at SRHU will be given on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in graduation. Their scores in the qualifying exams will be assessed for shortlisting them and they will later be called for personal counselling and interaction.
The eligibility criteria for BCA at SRHU states that applicants have to clear 10 + 2 level in any discipline with mathematics as a compulsory subject and an aggregate of at least 50 per cent marks. It is essential for the students to have completed their higher secondary education from a school that is affiliated to a school of a recognised board of education like the ISC, the CBSE, or any state board.
Candidates will be selected for admission to BCA at SRHU on the basis of marks they score at the 10 + 2 level. The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal counselling and interaction.
B.Tech is offered at SRHU in the branches of Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. In order to be eligible for B.Tech at SRHU, candidates must have completed 10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised board of education. The subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, and English and must be the compulsory subjects of the candidate and he/ she should have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent marks in these subjects taken together. Apart from that, the overall aggregate marks of the candidate in class 12th should not be less than 55 per cent.
Admissions to B.Tech at SRHU are conducted on the basis of the candidate's score in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Alternatively, if the applicant has appeared for BITSAT or any state level engineering entrance exam, the score of those exams will also be accepted for the B.Tech selection process at SRHU. The seats remaining vacant after the counselling process will be filled on the basis of merit list prepared as per the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination and through the personal counselling and interaction session with the student.
Several diploma courses are offered at SRHU across various streams. For being eligible for admission to diploma in Engineering, the candidates must have cleared class 10th or its equivalent examination from any recognised board of education with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate. The student should have studied science and mathematics at the high school level.
In order to be eligible for Diploma in General Nursery and Midwifery, the candidate must have completed education up to the 10 + 2 level under CBSE/ ISC/ Intermediate Board examination or its equivalent. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English should be the compulsory subjects and the aggregate marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together should be at least 40 per cent. Additionally, the candidate should be between 17 to 35 years of age on or before 31st December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.
For admission to Diploma in Dialysis Technology, the candidate must have cleared class 12th from a recognised state or central board of education. The higher secondary education of the candidate should have the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Healthcare Sciences. The student must have received passing marks in these subjects individually and must have obtained an aggregate of at least 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC). Those who have qualified the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course are also eligible.
The selection of Diploma in Engineering is based on the merit list prepared as per the marks secured by the applicant in the qualifying examination. Due weightage is given to the candidates with a valid JEEP score.
The selection process for Diploma in General Nursery and Midwifery is done on the basis of the marks in the qualifying examination as per eligibility criteria prescribed by INC. The candidates who are mentioned in the merit are required to attend the session of personal counselling. The personal counselling committee shortlists students on the basis of their qualifying testimonials, credentials, and medical examination. 50 per cent of the total seats are filled through the entrance examination that is conducted by the State Government and 50 per cent are filled by SRHU.
The selection for Diploma in Dialysis Technology at SRHU is based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination. SRHU displays the merit list and the shorlisted candidates are required to attend the personal counselling session in order to get admission to the programme.
