Admission in Bachelors in Engineering or Bachelors in Technology at Shri Sairam College are done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA). The counseling is done by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission, and the university is affiliated to the Anna University. The application form for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission is filled online.

Candidate must pass 10+2 in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and the aggregate for SC and ST candidates is 45%. The TNEA rank list or merit list will be prepared on the parameters of percentage secured in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2 examination. The applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject in order to be eligible for all the Post Graduate courses.

For the Masters’ degree, the candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in TANCET examination.

50% marks in higher secondary exam with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), 5% relaxation to OBC and 10% relaxation to SC and ST.

The candidates are selected on the basis of the TNEA merit list for BE/B.Tech admissions at Sri Sai Ram Engineering College. Marks obtained in Physics and Maths in the last qualifying exam is reduced to 200.
