St. Peter's Engineering College admissions are offered in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degrees in a variety of specialisations to students interested in engineering careers. At the postgraduate level, the college offers a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Electrical Power Systems.

SPEC admission to both courses is determined by the university's entrance exam results. The university conducts entrance examinations throughout India in order to enrol as many students as possible. Candidates must not underestimate the significance of SPEC admission eligibility requirements.

St. Peter's Engineering College eligibility criteria list the requirements that a candidate must meet in order to be eligible to take the entrance exam. The candidates are suggested to check the eligibility criteria prior to filling out the application form.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have received a 10+2 qualification from a recognised state or central board.
• Physics, Mathematics, and Biology/Chemistry/Bio-Technology should be required subjects for candidates.
• Candidates in the general category must pass the exam with a 45 per cent overall score.
• Candidates who fall into one of the reserved groups must pass the exam with a score of at least 45%.

Age limit:

• On or before December 30, 2022, the applicant must be 17 years old.
• The maximum age limit has been set at 30 years old.
• The age limit for reserved groups, such as ST/SC/OBC/PWD and women applicants, has been lowered by three years.

Domicile:

• If the exam is conducted at the state level, no applicant from another state shall be able to attend the exam.

For UG courses:

• 10+2 with entrance exam: This criterion is to be fulfilled by candidates who wants to get admission in B.Tech course at St. Peter's Engineering College. This is a 4 year course and entrance exam like JEE Main, TS EAMCET.
• Specialisation under B.Tech – Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Design, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering.

For PG courses:

• B.Tech with entrance exam: This criterion is to be fulfilled by candidates who wants to pursue M.Tech course at St. Peter's Engineering College. GATE entrance exam is to be attempted by the candidates for this course.
• Specialisation under M.Tech – Embedded Systems, Electrical Power Systems.

For Diploma courses:

• 10th standard with 50% aggregate: This criterion is to be fulfilled by candidates who wants to pursue Diploma course at St. Peter's Engineering College. No entrance exam is needed for this and this is a 3 years course.
• Specialisation under Diploma – Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Online admission process:

To get SPEC admission through the online process, a person can simply log in to the college's online link and then select the proffered course according to the criteria mentioned for every course online. The basic login details will be created, and the phone number and email address will be verified at the first step. All the login details will then be shared by the college to the person's email address.

The student will then have to log in through the registered details that they have got from the website. The student can then apply for the desired course by paying the mentioned application fees online through a credit/debit card, UPI or net banking method. They can quickly get the application confirmation within minutes. Students will be provided with the facility to track the status of their admission procedure throughout the course of it, so as to update them regarding any important selection procedure steps. The students will then receive the admission offer letter from the SPEC official website, and then they will have to upload their documents accordingly. In the end, if all the documents are uploaded correctly, the student passes all the eligibility criteria, and the relevant entrance exams are also cleared. The student will get the admission acceptance letter from the college. The final step will be to pay the SPEC Hyderabad fees for the specific course and complete the admission process.

Offline Admission process:

If a student wants to enroll in the course of the college through the offline method. In that case, they can easily do so by visiting the campus themselves and getting all the relevant documents from the admission department. They will be required to approach the authorities in order to collect the ‘application kit’ for which a sum needs to be paid. 

The student can easily fill out the admission form with all the relevant details asked in that form. If a student fulfils all the eligibility criteria, they can sit for the entrance examination conducted by the SPEC Hyderabad at the specified location. If the student passes the examination, they have to submit all the documents at the time of the counselling and interview round and then they are selected for the desired course. The student will then have to submit the course fees at the accounts counter.
