Overall: Spending a year at this college was an exciting adventure. Life here on the campus is really chilled; everyone is warm and welcoming, and I have made new friends. College gives an excellent balance of academies and on-campus activities.
Placement: Being the college it is also has a successful record of placing students into jobs. The office of placements makes every effort to benefit from the coming of the best employers for recruitment, many students finishing the skills acquisition before their graduation with job offers in their hands.
Infrastructure: College on the other side is an infrastructure impressive. The study areas are fitted with all the advanced technology, while the labs have the adequate tools for hands-on experience.
Faculty: Teachers are phenomenal. They are not only knowledgeable and resourceful but also encouraging and ready to assist in helping students to achieve success. Those professors being ardent about their academic disciplines make their classes attractive and pleasant.
Hostel: The beds in the hostel are quite comfortable and are kept very neat and clean. Rooms are quite big and offer comfortable accommodation for the students. The cafeteria has a wide selection of healthful, delicious dishes that can satisfy any dietary need of an individual.
Overall: This college is one of the top colleges in India whenever you google you will know its position. This is semi private semi Government College in Chennai. It is only for girls. The discipline and campus of s college is very good. The teacher is very polite towards the student and all are small due to which the student likes a lot. In which many departments, placements are provided in very good company. This is best college in Chennai for outsider. Management also good.
Placement: Stella Maria College provides opportunities for placement and internships in various fields. Mainly, students in their final year are eligible for placements. Various companies came here, like TCS, Byju's, HCBC, Wipro, etc. I don't know about the placement packages explicitly, but it's various courses-wise for MBA students; the average package is about INR 7 lakh per annum. And for M.Sc. mathematics, it's about NR 6 lacs per annum. Most M.Sc. mathematics students either go for a Ph.D. or join some corporate sector jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel is extraordinary, with air-conditioned rooms for three. There is a table, a cupboard, and a bed for each. There is an attached bathroom with a shower and theater facilities, which are really well kept. Also, we have a common refrigerator and Genset and Wi-Fi facilities. But we have to wash our own clothes and submit our phones by 8.30 p.m. The food is quite good, with different recipes every day, though it becomes boring after a while. The hostel fee is high at INR 50,000 per semester, and the mess fee is like INR 22,000 per semester, which is exorbitant. The hostel interview is similar to the college interview, where the basic questions are asked about whether we opt for AC or non-AC rooms. Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated and supportive. They will help you whenever you need their help The teachers are very friendly and talented; they teach us everything and help us a lot. They are not only teachers; they are also good mentors. The college allocates mentors for every student for 3 years to share their feelings, and we can feel free to contact them anytime.
