The Stella Maris College placement cell seeks to shape students' personalities generally and creates alliances with businesses for hiring. The placement cell of Stella Maris College hosts a variety of workshops, seminars, and activities to assist students in developing their abilities in accordance with market demands. For college students, the placement cell organises recruitment drives and offers internship options. Additionally, the placement cell provides students with academic and personal mentorship. The placement cell has established a counselling centre where they provide guidance to students regarding career planning and what opportunities are best suited for the students of the college.
As a project of the alumni association, the Career Guidance Cell (CGC) of Stella Maris College was established in the year 2003. The cell's objectives include exposing students to international organisations, providing job possibilities, holding workshops, seminars, and special events to help students plan their careers, among other things. The placement rate at Stella Maris College is expected to be high for the next placement drive. As per the NIRF report 2022, Stella Maris College placements have completed for the year 2021 with more than 453 students placed. A total of 330 students from UG programmes and 123 students from PG programmes made up the total number of students placed. Additionally, during placements in 2021, the average salary package for UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) students was Rs 3.1 LPA and Rs 3.6 LPA, respectively. According to records from previous years, some of the top employers for Stella Maris College placements include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, EY, and Cognizant, among others.

Placement: Stella Maria College provides opportunities for placement and internships in various fields. Mainly, students in their final year are eligible for placements. Various companies came here, like TCS, Byju's, HCBC, Wipro, etc. I don't know about the placement packages explicitly, but it's various courses-wise for MBA students; the average package is about INR 7 lakh per annum. And for M.Sc. mathematics, it's about NR 6 lacs per annum. Most M.Sc. mathematics students either go for a Ph.D. or join some corporate sector jobs.
