Stella Maris College Scholarships

The University of Madras and other trusts finance the Stella Maris College scholarship programme, which awards scholarships to needy, underprivileged students. The Stella Maris College scholarship programme provides broad access to students' belongings from underprivileged social groups. EY (formerly Ernst & Young), one of the largest multinational professional services firm in the world and one of the "Big Four" accounting firms, headquartered in London, United Kingdom, launched the EY Scholarship in 2014. The Ernst & Young ( EY) scholarship season – 3 was open for second year students of the college pursuing Humanities/Commerce course and this time Ms. Shahithya Priya – II B.com Shift II won the scholarship amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- and also got an opportunity to intern with EY organization for a period of two months. The students were short-listed based on their performance on the business case challenge designed by the organization.

Dear aspirant Lovely Professional University established in 2005 is one of the premier institutes of education in India. LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. As per the eligibility criteria for different courses the marks required in boards (qualifying exam) varies from 50% to 60% depending on the course. To take admission to certain courses at LPU you need to appear for LPUNEST, for others you may get direct admission provided you fulfil the eligibility criteria.The candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc.. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. For others like MBA, PhD, etc one needs to appear for an interview after qualifying LPUNEST. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as determining Eligibility for admission in various programmes. The qualifying marks for LPUNEST varies between 30% to 40% for different courses. good luck
