Stella Maris College campus provides faculty members and students with a variety of facilities. To make the college an environmentally friendly campus, the Chennai campus has undertaken a number of activities. The college takes numerous actions to maintain Stella Maris College as an environmentally friendly campus, including collecting rainwater, reusing greywater, and conserving energy. For students, the Chennai campus facility includes large classrooms that are well-equipped with smartboard and projector capabilities. The students, faculty, and scholars at Stella Maris College campus have access to a large collection of books, journals, and other study materials in the college's library.
Students can use study materials available in the library's special section with resources for competitive exams to get ready for them. At the campus of Stella Maris College, there are various, well-equipped laboratories for every subject, and students use these labs to acquire practical knowledge for their courses. The pupils have access to cafeteria facilities. The female students of the college have access to five hostels that are spread throughout the campus. The college offers sports facilities, parking spaces, and transportation services to its students, teachers, and employees.
There are four hostels for resident students. The residents are one large, happy family, and engage in friendly rivalry in games and sports.
A limited number of seats are available in the hostels. Hostel application should be submitted along with the programme application form. Admission to the College programmes does not necessarily guarantee admission to the college hostel.
The Club seeks to inculcate in club members a sense of pride, appreciation and achievement in the learning and practice of Indian Classical Dance forms.

The Dramatic club provides a space for creative students to express themselves both on and off stage. It aims to put up an annual production completely handled by the members, allowing everyone to work in their own spheres doing the best that they can.

The Light Music club is a team of enthusiastic ‘musicoholics’ having amazing singers, instrumentalists and percussionists. This year the club has received a huge response from the first and second years and as the club is on a look out for new talents , the intake of students in this academic year by the club has been massive and impressive. The club will take part in all cultural events within and outside the city.
The Mime and Street Theatre Club was established to promote alternative forms of theatre and revive indigenous art forms.

The aim of the activities of the Photography Club is to document every event that takes place on campus through the medium of the camera, in both photo and video format. It also seeks to hone the skills of students interested in the medium, and to introduce interested students to the basics in the field.

The Debate, Quiz and Current Affairs Club seeks to shape an individual’s overall personality through the various activities organised. The activities undertaken by the club include parliamentary and conventional debates, quizzes, Model United Nations’ conferences and current affairs discussions. Apart from training all its members to represent themselves on diverse forums, the club also organises two major intercollegiate events, namely SMC Parliamentary Debate and SMC-Quiz. SMCPD is a national level parliamentary debating tournament that brings together debaters and adjudicators from across the country. The Club aims to inculcate the skills of acquiring general knowledge, critical thinking and public speaking.
Being affiliated to the Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME), the club seeks to provide the best of services in the avenues of community, professional and international service, both within and outside the college.
The club’s aim is to improve and change for the better, the attitude and behaviour of the society we live in.
The club has a 20- member Board to handle the various projects. However, the major decisions are taken by the core board which consists of the President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Sergeant- at-arms and the Treasurer.

Acastella, as the name implies, is an acapella group. We work on harmonies and participate in cultural events. Over the years, the group has won various prizes and is looking forward to increasing that count.

The Event Management Club (EMC), the largest club on campus, boasts a legion of enthusiastic, responsible students from every department and every year, including freshers and post- graduates.
The EMC’s primary focus is to work in collaboration with the Student’s Union- organising and managing all events hosted by them from intra-collegiate events such as the Fresher’s Talent Hunt and the inter-Years’ competition to our annual inter- collegiate cultural fest, ‘Aquilae’. Its army of volunteers ensures that the registration, hospitality, scoring, invite/certificate/backdrop designing, technical support, etc for every event is carried out smoothly. The club also assists in promoting the Union’s social theme of the year and conducting break-time events for Onam, Retro Day, etc. This year, the EMC will concentrate on improving students’ participation and making every Union event a tremendous success.

The Anubhuti Club is the Hindi Club of the College. It aims to bring forth the talents and creativity of both the Hindi and non - Hindi students. The Club's primary objective is to provide an open platform to students from varied cultural backgrounds to interact and plan programmes to promote Hindi.
The Club enables a healthy exchange of ideas amongst students in order to bring out the best in each one of them. This agenda is fulfilled by the various cultural activities and programmes organised by the members.
The Club holds an intercollegiate event every year. Through the various competitions held, it fosters the spirit of participation and also highlights the unity in diversity that prevails in our country. Apart from this, the Club aims at bringing to the fore various social issues that need to be addressed in order to maintain a peaceful society.
Everything in this Universe is interconnected, which makes it much more important for us to respect and guard our immediate environment. And we do....just that!
Our college is home to a diverse community of flora and fauna including plants which are found in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List as critically endangered too. Our club is more than litter removal. It is an initiation into a change of lifestyle. Hostel: The college provide safe and comfortable environment for students to stay in hostel accommodations and offer hygienic and spacious mess with both veg and non-veg food option.

The hostel fee is high at INR 50,000 per semester, and the mess fee is like INR 22,000 per semester, which is exorbitant. The hostel interview is similar to the college interview, where the basic questions are asked about whether we opt for AC or non-AC rooms. Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year.
