Overall: As a DEl.Ed student who graduated in 2022 I can say with pride that Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Education is the best for this course. The teachers are highly qualified and provide full support to struggling students. Other than that the college also has a great infrastructure for accommodating all the students. The college also has a canteen that offers snacks, meals, and refreshments.
Placement: After completing my Diploma course in Education I went for government job preparation so I did not opt for campus placements. My friends who attended told me that the average package received by them was around Rs 2.80 LPA. Many companies visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college includes a canteen, modern classrooms, labs, medical facilities, a library, etc. All the departments in our college have first aid kits and for serious conditions, students are transferred to medical centres which is near the campus.
Faculty: For DEl.Ed course which I was studying, there were three teachers - Anupam sir, Sarita Saroj mam, and Shalini mam. They were all very good at their job. Child psychology is a topic with which I was struggling and Saroj mam spent an hour teaching me after college time.
Hostel: Subhash Chandra Bose Institute of Higher Education has a hostel for its students. It was on a sharing basis and had an attached bathroom. We had access to a common room in the hostel. The warden mam was very nice and supportive. If I remember correctly, the hostel room rent was between Rs 3,000 to Rs 4000 per month.
