The JEE Main 2024 results for session 2 paper 1 has been released on the official website of NTA on April 24, 2024. Interested candidates with JEE Main 2024 scores can register for the JoSAA counselling process from June 10, 2024 onwards. Applicants seeking admission in the SVNIT Surat B.Tech programmes must have cleared Class 12 from the science stream (Non-Medical/ Medical). Applicants must have physics, chemistry and mathematics in Class 12. Apart from this, applicants must have appeared for the JEE Main for SVNIT Surat admission in B.Tech courses. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST or any other reservation categories will be provided with a 5% relaxation in the total percentage required.

The application form for the programme must be submitted before the last date or the applicants will have to submit a late fine along with the application fee. Applicants need to download the SVNIT application form available on the official website and fill it with all the required details mentioned in the application form. While submitting the NIT Surat application form, applicants will have to pay the application fee. The application fee is Rs. 1000 for general/ OBC and Rs. 500 for SC/ ST candidates. Students who have applied for SVNIT Surat M.Tech admission will be selected on the basis of scores in the GATE. Applicants will then have to appear for the counselling process on the specified date. Additionally, the applicants need to carry the necessary documents such as a work experience certificate, educational qualification certificates, birth certificate and a sponsorship certificate. If an applicant fails to carry any of the documents, then SVNIT Surat admission is likely to be cancelled.

The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a merit list prepared using the JEE main scores. While preparing the SVNIT Surat merit list, along with JEE Main ranks, weightage is given to students' category and state of domicile.
