T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) has completed the placement process for the PGDM batch 2017-19. The PGDM 2019 placements of TAPMI witnessed 100% placements, as all students of the PGDM 2017-19 batch secured jobs lucrative job offers from top companies. Compared to the previous PGDM batch (2016-18), the highest salary offered to students witnessed a dip of 18%. The highest salary offered to PGDM 2017-19 batch of TAPMI is Rs. 20 lakh per annum.

TAPMI, Manipal, one of the top 25 b-schools in India, has recorded 100% placement this placement season for the batches of 2016-18. 40% of the firms that visited TAPMI campus for the first time. Students of the PGDM, PGDM – BKFS and PGDM – Healthcare were offered jobs at the recruitment drive.

Jobs were offered in different domains including general management, BFSI, IT/ITES, consulting, operations, sales and marketing. 93% of the pre-placement offers (PPOs) were converted into full-time job offers.

TAPMI Placement 2018 Highlights:

Some of the major companies that hired TAPMI PGDM students were Amazon, EY, Capgemini Consulting, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Wipro, Grant Thornton, TATA Capital, Deloitte, GEP, HSBC, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Exide Life Insurance, ITC, ICICI Securities, Britannia, Accenture, Citi Bank, Amul, Infosys, Cognizant, Titan, Mindtree, JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Ford.

Director of TAPMI, Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan, talked about the placements and said that it is a delight to see that the corporate sector has restored it’s faith in the talent of the institute. She added that there has been a major shift in the performance of TAPMI students and the results have improved.

TAPMI PGDM-BKFS Placements 2017-19

TAPMI Manipal, which is one of the premier B-Schools in India, has witnessed a 4.5% hike in the top salaries for the PGDM batch of 2017-19. Compared to the previous year, TAPMI placements 2017-19 witnessed a surge in the highest salary offered to students. The highest salary offered to the PGDM-BKFS 2017-19 batch of TAPMI is Rs. 15 lakh per annum. Only one student of TAPMI has been selected for Rs. 15 lakh package this year.

Highlights of TAPMI PGDM-BKFS 2017-19 Placements

• PGDM-BKFS 2017-19 batch of TAPMI recorded 100% placements.
• The average salary offered to students was Rs. 10.30 lakh per annum.
• Compared to the previous year, there was a 9% hike in the average salary.
• On the other hand, the minimum salary offered to students was Rs. 9 lakh per annum.
• The top 50% of students bagged an annual package of Rs. 12.70 lakh per annum.
• A total number of 42 students opted to take placements from 21 finance companies.
