ICFAI University Baddi admission 2024 will be offered to B.Tech courses on the basis of JEE Main scores. The results for JEE Main 2024 session have been announced on April 24, 2024 by NTA.
The selection criteria for the postgraduation courses mostly depends on the entrance test results and the aggregate percentage secured by the candidate in their undergraduate degree. Depending on the stream and course, exams are considered, such as MAT/CMAT /CAT/GATE.
The undergraduate courses selection is based on 10+2 examination results. At times, depends on the common entrance tests such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for the Bachelor in Technology course.
The ICFAI University's admission portal is easily available online for students to complete the whole process from the convenience of their homes in online mode. The application procedure at the ICFAI University is simple and has two types.
Direct Application
The direct application involves only students and universities, wherein students need to apply via the official admission portal once the results of the previous board are out. Counselling Application
The counselling application is made in collaboration with the government. Students need to attempt the common entrance examination and then wait for the counselling centre and date to be announced depending on their rank. Undergraduate Programs
To get selected for the undergraduate courses at the ICFAI University, Baddi, students first need to make sure that they know all the accepted exams and their important dates. Once the common entrance test criteria are taken care of, students need to work on the 10+2 percentage, which must be at least above 50%, to bargain a seat in the selected course.
Postgraduate Programs
The PG programs offered at ICFAI accept a lot of entrance exams, such as the CAT/CMAT and GATE, depending on the field and course. Students first have to ensure they are well versed in their domain and are sure about doing postgraduation to deepen their roots in a few core subjects. Once the exam is done and the mindset is concluded, a good percentage should be secured the undergraduate degree and apply for admission.
Doctoral Programs
The PhD programs require one to finish off the PG courses and then try for the highest academic qualification available in the education system. PhD includes a lot of research, and students have to be very hardworking to cope with the continuous assignment and research work. Applicants need to obtain 55% in the previous degrees to avail of admission into PhD.
Diploma Program
A diploma is a 2-year course that teaches the bare minimum to secure immediate employment opportunities for students to continue their education later when they find it convenient.
Bachelor in Technology
Class 12th or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as subjects, along with JEE (Main) 2021 or HPCET 2021 score. Class 12 students awaiting final examination results are also eligible to apply.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
Pass in 3-year Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Bachelor of Pharmacy
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination with aggregate 50% and above marks, conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects are individual. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India is equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Bachelor in Business Administration
Pass in Class XII (or equivalent) in any discipline with an aggregate of 45% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor in Commerce
Pass in Class XII (or equivalent) in any discipline with an aggregate of 40% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final year examination results are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor in Science
Class 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), with aggregate 50% and above marks. Class XII students awaiting final examination results are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor in Computer Applications
Pass 10+2 (Pass in class XII or equivalent) with an aggregate of 45% (any discipline). Class XII students awaiting final examination results are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor in Arts
Complete with 45% and above aggregate marks in Class XII or equivalent in any discipline. Students appearing for final examinations and awaiting results are also eligible for admission.
Candidate shall not be more than 21 Years in case of General Category, 22 Years in case of Backward Classes and 23 Years in case of SC/ST, on the date of admission.
Bachelor in Law
Secure 50% and above aggregate marks in Graduation or equivalent in any discipline. Students appearing for final examinations and awaiting results are also eligible for admission.
The following are the eligibility criteria for the postgraduation course at the ICFAI University.
Master in Business Administration
Graduation in any discipline with 50% and above aggregate marks, qualification in CMAT or any other eligibility criteria prescribed by the Regulatory Authority. Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Students must enclose an attested copy of the CMAT or another test scorecard.
Master of Commerce
Graduation in Commerce with 50% and above aggregate marks. Final year graduate students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Master in Science
Bachelor in Science with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Doctor of Philosophy
Two-year postgraduate degree with 55% or more or equivalent CGPA, over and above a three-year Undergraduate Degree qualification in a respective discipline.
Diploma in Draughtsman (Mechanical)

The ICFAI University, Baddi has an admission portal available for students on all the days of the year; there are no specific dates for the applications. Many exams, including JEE, are conducted during the summer nearby April and May of the year.
Depending on the type of admission, whether a government seat allotted via counselling or direct admission or a Management Quota seat, the dates are released. Government releases the notifications for the counselling dates, and it is done and batches depending on the ranks secured. The initial ranks get the best choices, and as the ranks go beyond a certain threshold, there are no more seats left for the students.
ICFAI University, Baddi application is a little time-consuming, but students get the best program for their careers depending on the plans and opportunities.
Important Note:
Counselling is the most common procedure to allot seats to students on a mer. It ensures clear and easy enrollment of students into the desired colleges.
The procedure at ICFAI University, Baddi, begins with students attempting the required competitive examinations and then waiting for the results and ranks. Once the ranks are out, the Government releases notifications about the dates and counselling centres depending on the ranks, and all this is done in batches starting from rank 1.
Students need to visit the counselling centre on the date allotted and select the college and course that is available for them. The better the rank, the more the chances to get the desired seats.
