NEET UG Round 1 UCMS Delhi Cutoff 2024: For seeking admission to the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, candidates need to meet NEET UG cutoff 2024. The officials have released NEET UG Round 1 UCMS Delhi cutoff 2024. Accordingly, the cutoff has been stated for the Open, EWS, OBC, OBC-PwD, SC, and ST categories. In total, 25 seats have been assigned to candidates belonging to all categories in Round 1. As declared by the officials, the highest cutoff is for the Open category i.e., 390, and the lowest for OBC-PwD i.e., 231746. MBBS admission 2024MBBS, also known as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, has been one of the prestigious medical courses across the globe for generations. It is also one of the most challenging courses to pursue after the 12th. Admission to MBBS courses in India is granted based on the NEET scores obtained by the candidates. As per the tentative schedule shared by NTA on its official website, the NEET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024 (Sunday) and result for the same is antipcated to be released in the second or third week of June 2024. 

MBBS course aims to give an academic understanding of concepts such as human anatomy, chemistry, medicine, drug formulation and effect, pharmaceutical experience and method of surgery through practical and theoretical experiences. Every year lakhs of aspiring medical students compete in the entrance exams for MBBS admissions in India. However, due to the limited MBBS seats in India, students face tough competition in getting admission.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or MBBS course duration is of 5 years and 6 months including a rotating internship of one year. Aspirants must note that during an MBBS course, the internship is mandatory, and therefore, one has to pursue the same after 4½ years of pursuing an MBBS course. The MBBS course has nine semesters in total, and the Medical Council of India (MCI) is the only accreditation body for MBBS courses in the country.

Dear student, The University College of Medical Sciences cutoff score for the previous year for the General category was 695. Yes, the cutoff varies for each course and category every year. For the OBC candidates, the cutoff score for UCMS was 685. Moreover, the General (PH Category) cutoff score was 494. For the ST category, the cutoff score was 645 and for the SC category, the cutoff score was 656.
