Merit Scholarship:

The Uttaranchal University emphasises students' intellectual abilities. Scholarships are offered to students who score very well in their qualifying tests in order to honour their academic brilliance. (Except Law Programmes) 

• Candidates who scored more than 90.01% in the qualifying examination (UG/PG) are eligible for a 30% tuition fee scholarship.
• Candidates achieved > 80.01% to 90% in Qualifying Examination (UG/PG) earn 20% Scholarship on Tuition Fee.
• Candidates who obtained >70.01% to 80% in the Qualifying Examination (UG/PG) receive a 10% Tuition Fee Scholarship.

Conditions:

If the aforementioned requirements are satisfied, students will be given the merit scholarship based on how well they performed on their qualifying tests.

(i) The qualifying tests they took were all passed on the first try for all programmes and disciplines.

(ii) Only the first year is covered by this award; students are not eligible to use it in future years.

(iii) There will be no rounding of CGPA or the marks in their qualifying, for example if a student achieves CGPA “8.99” it will be considered as 8.99 and will not be considered as 9.00 similarly, if a student achieves 89.99% it will not be considered as 90.00%

Offer Scholarships To The Students Law Programmes:-

Merit Scholarship: 

The Uttaranchal University promotes students' aptitude for academic study. Students in the B.A.LL.B., BBA.LL.B., and LL.B. programmes exclusively who succeed in their qualifying exams will be given the following scholarships in recognition of their academic achievement.

Program:

Uttaranchal University B.A. LL.B/ BBA. LL.B - Candidates who earned 90% or 9.0 CGPA or an equal percentage in the 12th grade are eligible for a 10% scholarship off of their net tuition costs..

Uttaranchal University LL.B - Candidates who received 90% or a 9.0 CGPA or an equivalent grade in their undergraduate or graduate studies are eligible for a 10% scholarship off of their net tuition costs.

Conditions:

For their scholarship to remain in effect, the following requirements must be fulfilled by the students : 

(i) Maintaining a CGPA of 9.0 throughout the next years 

(ii) All courses/subjects are successfully completed on the first try. 

(iii) There should be no instances of discipline issues.

(iv) There will be no rounding of CGPA; for instance, a student's CGPA of "8.99" will be rounded down to 8.99 and not rounded up to 9.00.
