After the completion of the program, UCSTS offers its postgraduate students two Mukesh Sawhney Memorial Scholarships, each worth Rs. 5000 per month. Exams and interviews are used to choose and elect candidates each year on campus. Research and teaching are both tasks.

Library : The library consists of periodicals, research journals, and materials that benefit the students in the area of study. Yearly seminars are held to educate the students about the usage of the library for smooth functioning. Reference, indexing, photocopies, graphics and customised library management softwares are also available for use.

Hostel : The institute provides hostel facilities to both boys and girls. The rooms accommodate 3 persons and are furnished with a cupboard, study table, bed, toilet and balcony. For recreation there is TV, internet, newspapers and magazines. Medicare, laundry, STD is provided without any extra charge.
