The department has animal house which is approved by CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals). Regular Industry Interaction is ensured through guest lectures and live industry projects. Eminent people from academia and industry are regular visitors to share their expertise. Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with a Pharmaceutical Industry for technology transfer on Targeted Release of Microsphere of 5-FU. After this MOU the path for commercialization of LPU’s indigenously developed technology at International level have been cleared. Students Explore More Than 200 Species of Medicinal Plants. Student got the Bronze in Pharm-IIDEx 2020 held at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia. B. Pharmacy students selected for Queen Elizabeth II Golden jubilee scholarship for higher studies in Canada. B. Pharm students secured Gold medal awarded by the President of India (Shri Pranab Mukherjee) and by the Vice President of India (Shri Venkaiah Naidu) If I talk about placements, many companies visit like Nestle India Limited, Abbott, GlaxoSmithKline, Infollion Research P Ltd, Dnj Infotech, Cactus Communications Pvt Ltd, Ids Infotech, Roots Analysis Private Limited, etc. Hope this helps!!
