Vignan University admission 2024 is currently underway. Registration for session 2 of JEE Main 2024 commenced on February 02, 2024, and will conclude on March 02, 2024. Session 2 of JEE Main 2024 exam will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. Candidates interested in the M.Tech programme at Vignan University must have a valid GATE scorecard. The answer key for GATE 2024 will be released on February 21, 2024. GATE 2024 results will be released on March 16, 2024.
Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) provides admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various streams. Students applying for any of the available courses may check their eligibility and then proceed with the admission/selection process. All the candidates having the eligible percentage in the entrance exam will be selected for the counselling process for postgraduate and doctoral courses as well as on the basis of merit secured in the qualifying exam.
Candidates may either apply online or offline. Candidates may download the application form from the official website and submit the duly filled form along with the Demand Draft of Rs 1000. Candidates applying for B.Tech shall meet the following criteria:
Minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% marks in aggregate in Telangana and the other South Indian States.
50% aggregate marks in the remaining states of India in 10+2 or Intermediate examination or equivalent MPC/BI.PC.
50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam for the students belonging to North, North East, and other states.
Admission to B.Tech/B. Pharmacy aspirants shall be offered on the basis of their performance in Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT), an online test conducted by the university.
Candidates who have cleared other entrance exams like AP or TS EAMCET/JEE (Mains)/JEE (Advanced) with at least a CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% marks in aggregate in Telangana and the other South Indian States shall be offered admission on the basis of the same and exempted from taking the V-SAT test.

Applicants must have passed a Diploma or its equivalent with at least 60 % aggregate marks.
Admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry Programmes at Vignan's will be done through VUCET. It is an online test conducted by Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research. Candidates who have qualified E-CET will be directly offered admission to the course.
BBA/BCA seats shall be open for aspirants if the follow the eligibility criteria enlisted below.
Candidates born on or after July 2000.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least CGPA of 6.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 55% aggregate marks in Telangana and the other South India States and 50% aggregate marks in all other states in the +2 / Intermediate examination shall be eligible to appear for the admission test (V-JET).
Admission into B.B.A/B.C.Programmes will be through Vignan's Joint Entrance Test, V-JET, an online test, conducted by VFSTRU.

The admission of the applicants shall be on the basis of their performance in the written exam conducted by VFSTR.
The V-JET score of the candidate will decide the merit position of the candidate and admissions will also follow the reservation policy of VFSTR.
A common merit list will be created on the basis of the candidate's performance, after which candidates shall be called for counselling. The same shall be held at the campus through a common ranking.
The candidates must be able to ascertain or prove their eligibility or the requisite qualification for admission.

Enlisted below is the PhD Eligibility Criteria at Vignan's for 2023.
For Full-Time scholars, candidates must have obtained First Class degrees in both B.Tech. and M.Tech.
For Part-Time scholars, As per UGC rules and subject to written test and interview by VFSTR, candidates with first class in M.Tech will be selected.
The qualification required for Ph.D admission is at least 55% marks in aggregate in post-graduation, relaxable 5% to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
UGC prescribes only the minimum eligibility/standard required to admit into PhD Programmes. However, subject to demand and response for any specific programme(s), VFSTR has the discretion to set a higher benchmark while selecting the candidates.
For engineering subjects/disciplines, applicants must have completed a PG degree or equivalent in one of the relevant engineering specializations.
For management disciplines, candidates must have a PG degree in business management or any Masters degree with prior experience.
For biotechnology, humanities, and sciences, candidates must have a relevant PG degree or equivalent.
Candidates with an interdisciplinary requisite qualification may be considered for admission with the approval of the concerned department and RMC.
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree; however, deserving/exceptional cases may be referred to RMC.

Eligible candidates have to appear for a written test and interview.
Selection into PhD programme is evaluated on the basis of the academic performance at both UG and PG levels (Maximum 20% and 30% marks respectively), publications (2marks/ Journal paper & 1 mark for conference paper up to maximum 5 % marks), previous experience (each year 1 mark up to max. 5% marks), interview (25%marks) and written test (15% marks).
Candidates, who have cleared GATE/CSIR/NET/CAT examination shall be exempted from the written test for PhD admission. However, they should appear for the interview.
Candidates who are said to be selected by the concerned department are to be approved by the Dean (R&D), Chairman and URB respectively.
Given below is the eligibility criteria of BA LLB and BBA LLB programme at Vignan's.
Aspirants must have passed an examination in the 10+2 course of a school recognized by the educational authority of Central or State Government.
Candidates must have attained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with five subjects including English.
Law aspirants who have directly appeared as private candidates for 10+2 level or Intermediate standard exam without going to proper school education will not be considered eligible to apply for the course.
Given below is the selection process adopted by Vignan's for BA LLB and BBA LLB programme.
Aspirants who have obtained high marks in English subject in SSC /10+2 (or) Intermediate standard examinations will be preferred over others.
Candidates who have qualified in any common law entrance examination of states will also be considered.
All reservation policies of Government of India and Andhra Pradesh Government will be implemented including relaxation of 5% of marks in qualifying examination.
The institute fixes the cut-off level of admission depending upon seats available for admission.
To get admission at Vignan's MBA course, an individual must have acquired a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in any Bachelor's Degree and qualified MAT/I-CET with a score above 500, a minimum of 70% in CAT or 60% in B.Tech.
The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on the result obtained in I-CET conducted in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Admissions will be granted purely based on merit and by following the reservation policy applicable to Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research.
To be eligible for M.Sc at Vignan's candidates is required to have completed B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects. The minimum aggregate required in the undergraduate course is 60%. Aspirants who are awaiting result are also free to apply for the course.
Applicants are shortlisted for admission at MSc programme of Vignan'a based on the performance in written test and Interview conducted by the University itself.

Applicant must be a holder of any Bachelor's Degree (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / BBM / LLB / B.Pharm / B.Tech) from a UGC recognised University or College with English as major/ minor subjects.
The minimum aggregate required in the qualifying exam is 60%.
Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks in Intermediate and SSC/10th or other equivalent Programmes.
Candidates are shortlisted for admission at Vignan's MA course based on a written test( MCQ) followed by an overall interview conducted by the institute.
Candidates will have to submit INR 1000 as application fee for admission to the M.Tech, MCA or MBA Programs. They can submit the application fee online or offline.
Candidates who have cleared the Bachelor's degree with 55% aggregate mark are eligible for admission in the MBA Program.
Around 15% of the total seats are reserved for scheduled caste, 27% are reserved for OBC and 7.5% are reserved for scheduled tribes.
The application fee of V-SAT is INR 1200.
Admission to the M.Tech program will be done on the basis of scores in GATE/ PGECET/ VUGATE while ICET examination will be considered for admission to the MCA/ MBA programs.
