Faculty: All the faculties are in ycce are highly educated mostly they are PhD and mtech holders they teach really great and very helpful they help by solving their doubts but at the end it's all upto students that how much they focus in class while they are teaching ,all Faculties are very friendly.
Hostel: I have not taken hostel but my friends stay there and they told me that hostel rooms are good and clean hygiene is also maintained but mess food quality is not good enough compare to the money they take they only offer veg food and hostel fees is also too much high they take around 1 lakh for a single year compared to outside PGs .
Overall: Absolutely! Here's a semi-positive review focusing on the educational aspects of your college: --- "I've had a rewarding experience at YCCE due to its strong emphasis on academics. The professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The curriculum is well-structured, providing a solid foundation while also offering opportunities for exploration and specialization. Additionally, the college offers valuable resources such as research opportunities, internships, and career services, which have helped me prepare for the professional world. While there are areas for improvement, overall, I'm grateful for the educational journey I've had at YCCE."

Overall: What is your review of Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering? My Answer is Specifically Applicable For Branch of Civil Engineering Only….!!!! Lets Me Answer This Point By Point Infrastructure : In terms of infrastructure, the college is very good. Wi-Fi facility is available is the department as well as in the library. There is a separate computer complex (CCC) available where you can access the internet from Desktop Computers. The internet speed is good. Most of the books are available in the college library itself. An ambulance is available on the college campus 24*7. Facilities for games like cricket and football are available. Most of the classrooms are equipped with projectors. The quality of food available in the canteen is not so bad (but it could be better). Hostel rooms were not that good. 3 students used to stay in a single room. So, all in all, infrastructure-wise, the college scores very well. Faculty : The faculty is a mix of experience and youth. Some of the professors were PhD holders while others were recent M Tech pass outs. As a student, my experience with most of the senior faculty was a pleasant one as they always managed to correlate the theory with some or the other field examples. The teaching of new faculty was mostly theory oriented. Most of the teachers used to dictate notes in class. Some used PowerPoint presentations for better visualization. One of the our senior faculty even used to show some videos in his class (And Of course We Loved That). Student to faculty ratio was almost 30:1 (450 Students including Civil 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year and 15 faculty members in the Civil Engineering department). There was little industry exposure during college time as we were able to visit a few construction sites, 1 water treatment plant and 1 sewage treatment plant. But, the survey camp arranged by the college was for only one day (some other colleges had 3-4 day survey camps). The course curriculum was useful as it was mostly industry oriented. Placements (2010 Batch) : Talking specifically about the Civil Engineering branch, our Placement Stats were the worst among all the departments. Fluor Daniel and KEC International, these were the only two core companies that we were able to appear for and both them were open campus recruitment i.e. students from other colleges were also allowed to appear. Out of a batch of 150 students (2010-2014), only 6 students managed to get placements in these core companies (3 in Fluor Daniel and 2 in KEC International). Mahindra Lifespace invited us for Off Campus Recruitment (after we graduated) and 2 more were placed there. 8-10 others managed to get placed in software companies like Capgemini, Wipro, and Infosys. Roles of Graduate Trainee Engineers (G.T.E.) offered initially. For Civil, no companies visited for paid or unpaid internships. Even though I feel that the faculty was average and placements are poor, one needs to keep in mind that the faculty is far better than those compared to other colleges in Nagpur. The poor placements in the core branches is a story of every engineering college.

The poor placements in the core branches is a story of every engineering college.
Infrastructure: Yes the college has good and large infrastructureInfrastructure : In terms of infrastructure, the college is very good.
Faculty: Faculty : The faculty is a mix of experience and youth.
