The Yenepoya University scholarships are offered to support deserving candidates from socioeconomically disadvantaged groups. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are available from Yenepoya University to deserving students. Candidates are chosen using a merit-based combined method. While evaluating, the marks earned on the qualifying exam are taken into account. Only candidates who are eligible for selection are evaluated in terms of their qualifications. Students who received 80% or higher on their class 10th, 12th, plus I, and plus II pre-board exams or midterm exams are eligible to enrol. Students from the districts of Dakshin Kannada and Udupi in the state of Karnataka as well as Kasargod in the state of Kerala may apply.
It should be mentioned that applicants from Muslim minorities would receive preference. The scholarship at Yenepoya University must be renewed each year and requirements include passing the exam on the first try and maintaining a minimum score of 70%. To be eligible for this award, you must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%. Students who are interested in receiving financial aid under this quota must have participated in extracurricular activities and athletics, and they must also present a conduct or character certificate from the HOI.
