Yuvaraja's College Scholarships 2025 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

State and Central Golernments have been awarding a good number of scholarships for the meritorious and deserving students. Special scholarships for children ofpolitical sufferers, defense personnel and for physically handicapped are also offered. Free Student Scholarships are also given. The students of SC,/ST Cat.I, Ila, IIb, IIIa and IIIb categories have the benefit of free studentships up to a prescribed incomelimit. The LJniversity also provides financial assistance to physically handicapped students.

Central Government :

• Post-metric scholarships
• Merit Scholarships
• Special Scholarships for children of political sufferers, defence personnel, and for the physically   handicapped.

State Government :

• Free Student scholarships for the students of category I, II-A, II-B, III-A & III-B up to a prescribed income limit.

The College :

• Financial assistance to deserving students through 'Earn while you Learn' scheme.
• Financial aid for physically handicapped.
• Assistance for educational tours, field trips, etc.
• Endowment scholarships and cash prizes donated by philanthropists are awarded to the students who score high marks in some subjects.
• Subsidy for room rent, etc.,
