There is only one national-level entrance exam for MCA in India, called the NIMCET. It is conducted by the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and is used for admission to MCA programs at NITs.

MCA Direct Admission Process

NIMCET

Candidates can check the documents required to fill out NIMCET Application Form 2023 are listed below.

  1. Scanned copy of a recent, colored, passport-size photograph whose dimensions have to be between 50 KB - 1 MB
  2. Scanned copy of the signature in Royal Blue/ Black colour only whose dimensions have to be between 50 KB - 1 MB
  3. A valid identity proof such as Adhaar Card, School Certificate
  4. All the mark sheets and certificates have to be self-attested and scanned which should not exceed 1 MB
  5. Category/ caste/ PwD certificate (if applicable) for the candidate

TANCET

  • Personal Details - Candidates need to fill in all the personal details in TANCET application form 2023, such as the candidate's name, address, etc.
  • Academic Details - Candidates need to fill in all the candidate’s academic records as per the specified format of the application form of TANCET 2023.
  • Selecting a Test Center - The test center of the candidate has to be selected while filling out the application form. Candidates can select the course from the drop-down menu.
