NTPC Scholarship Scheme

NTPC Scholarship Scheme 2025 intends to provide financial aid to students pursuing technical and higher education. If you are a Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD), you are likely to be eligible for this scholarship. NTPC, one of India's major power production corporations, has launched this program as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy to empower students like you and promote higher education in impoverished regions.

The NTPC Scholarship Scheme 2025 is open to students pursuing engineering degrees at IITs, NITs, and BITs in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, and Telecommunications. A total of 35 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying students, with 20 going to SC students, 10 to ST students, and five to physically challenged students.

The NTPC Scholarship Scheme 2025 offers financial assistance to meritorious students from SC, ST, and Physically Challenged (PC) categories pursuing full-time engineering degrees. Selected candidates receive a monthly stipend of INR 1,500 throughout their program. A total of 35 scholarships are available: 20 for SC students, 10 for ST students, and 5 for PC students.

To apply for the scholarship, you must meet the NTPC Scholarship eligibility criteria listed below:

• A candidate must be in the second year of a B.E./BTech program at a particular institute.
• The applicant's age should not be more than 40 years.
• He/she must fall into the SC/ST and PC categories.
• The candidate's home state should be Rajasthan, Delhi, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, or Punjab.
• An applicant must not receive financial help from multiple sources.

To apply for the scholarship complete the basic steps listed below:

• You can get the application form from the institution's director or an authorised representative.
• You may also get the application form for the scholarship by heading to the NTPC Scholarship website.
• Download the application form.
• Take a printout of the application.
• Fill out all of the details correctly.
• Also, include the appropriate documentation.
• Send the completed form, along with the required documents, to the following address:

To apply for the NTPC Scholarship Scheme 2025, applicants are required to submit the following documents:

• Attested Copy of First-Year Mark Sheet: This serves as proof of academic performance.
• Passport-Size Photograph: A recent photograph for identification purposes.
• Domicile Certificate: Proof of residence in the specified regions, such as Rajasthan, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, or Punjab.
