Students must keep in mind that the Scholarship program is organised by the ONGC Foundation. Hence, it is their prerogative to change or halt the scholarship program at any time, with or without further notice. Here are some of the important terms and conditions that you need to consider before applying for the MBA scholarship via ONGC.

  • 50% of the scholarships are set for girls with an aim of increasing the female student enrollment in colleges.
  • A 60% or more in each semester must be attained if the scholarship is to be continued to the subsequent semesters.
  • Students who will be offered the scholarship cannot be beneficiaries of any other scholarship or grants from any other sources while benefiting from the scholarship.
  • The students of the OBC and SC/ST category should apply through their respective scholarship programs only.
  • The scholarship is only open for students pursuing full-time, regular courses in their areas of qualifier fields.
  • It is preferred to have an active account number which the applicant should maintain after we select them for easy transfer of funds.
  • The holder must have a current mobile number and e-mail because these will be the primary contact throughout the scholarship duration.
  • The ONGC MBA Scholarship is allowed every academic year but per scholar and per course of study only once in his/her lifetime.
  • The selection made by the ONGC Foundation is final, and there will be no communication regarding the final result of the selection process.
  • The receipt of the scholarship does not entitle the receiver to any employment chance with ONGC or any of its subsidiary companies.
  • Any false information entered in the form will lead to the rejection of an application and the student will be barred from making future applications for studies with notification will be forwarded to the institutions.
