According to a report by the Institute for Policy Research Studies (PRS), New Delhi, the percentage of students enrolled in class 10 was 77% in 2022 while the percentage of students enrolled in class 11 was limited to 52% in 2023. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Bright Student Award Scholarship is offered to 4th to 10th class students. The scholarship amount is distributed to the selected candidates on the basis of a written examination held by the authority. Those who achieve a rank between 1 to 100 in the test become eligible for the award amount of the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Bright Student Award Scholarship.

NMMS Scholarship
NMMS Scholarship, also known as the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship, is offered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of India. Under this centrally sponsored scholarship scheme, a total of 1,00,000 NMMS scholarships are disbursed annually to financially support disadvantaged students to continue their studies at the secondary level.
