CUHP admissions are offered in a wide range of coourses. The application process of the university can be completed online through the official admission portal cuhimachaladmission.samarth.edu.in. After the closing of the application window, Central University of Himachal Pradesh will release merit lists for counselling and eventually for final admission. It is to be noted that, candidates must also align themselves with course wise eligibility criteria to be selected for CUHP admission.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the entrance tests for all central universities (CUs). For Central University of Himachal Pradesh PhD admissions, students need to appear for an entrance test. The application process can be completed online by visiting the official website cuhimachal.ac.in. The syllabus for the entrance test is 50% research methodology and 50% subject specific. To be eligible for the test, candidates must qualify one of the following exams: UGC/ CSIR NET, UGC/ CSIR JRF, ICAR JRF/ SRF, SLET, M.Phil or have a teacher fellowship.
