Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

The 2023 placement season has concluded successfully with 865 students getting placed during BAOU placements. The official placement data released by the open university authorities reflect a median package of Rs 1,80,000 to the students enrolled in the UG courses and Rs 2,40,000 to the students of PG 1 year course. Furthermore, BAOU median package has been Rs 3,00,000 for 2-year PG course students during the BAOU placement drive 2023. BAOU top companies include Tech Mahindra, Concentrix, TATA Motors, Kotak Mahindra, HDFC Bank and others that participated in the campus drive recruiting students for a range of job roles.  

According to the official BAOU placement data, the median package offered to the UG students was Rs 1,80,000. The median package for the PG students ranged from Rs 2,40,000 to Rs 3,00,000.

• The number of students placed in 2023 increased from 1440 in 2022 to 1573 in 2023 out of 37356 and 39994 eligible students in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
• No change recorded in the median package offered to the students in both years.
• Notably, the median salary for the two-year postgraduate programme was the highest, followed by one-year postgraduate programme for both years.
