MGKVP Placement 2023-24: Highest and Average Package, Top Recruiters,

MGKVP Varanasi placement 2023 data has not yet been made public, however, the NIRF 2023 data was released which includes the placement, intake and other details. According to this data, there was a total of 1274 students who graduated with a UG degree, among them 452 students secured MGKVP placements and 784 opted for higher studies in the academic session 2021-22. A total of 1454 students graduated with a PG degree from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith. From them, 37 students opted for higher education and 377 students secured job opportunities during the MGKVP placement process. The median package offered to UG students ranges from Rs 2.40 LPA to Rs 5.50 LPA. For PG students, Rs 4.20 LPA to Rs 20 LPA was recorded as the MGKVP placement package.

There is a dedicated placement cell that is responsible for planning and managing the MGKVP Varanasi placements. The cell provides career counselling and conducts pre-placement activities, including job fairs. The main goal of the placement cell is to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Several placement drives are also conducted for students as a part of the MGKVP recruitment process. The placement coordinator Dr. Raman Pant, is in charge of all the actions carried out in relation to this. Students can participate in drives held by the MGKVP placement cell to apply for a range of job openings.

Mega Job Fests are also organised by the Academic Committee of the placement department for students on the university campus and in the Poorvanchal region. At the Mega Job Fest organised by the MGKVP placement department, more than 50 recruiters from reputable companies participated. The placement cell also conducts workshops on career guidance for the benefit of the students of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith. 

The MGKVP placement cell is a critical link between the phases of a student's academic programme completion and their admission into suitable work. Counselling and assistance are provided for the students by the MGKVP Varanasi placement cell in finding successful placements. Beyond their academic credentials, one of the main goals is to provide students with the skills they need to succeed in today's society.
