The MGKVP Varanasi application process is conducted online on the official website of the university. The procedure is the same for all the courses offered here. Candidates will get an option to choose their preferred programme during the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith application process. 

To successfully complete the application procedure, candidates must submit the application form obtained from the official website and pay the MGKVP admission fees. Step 1 - Visit the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith official website (mgkvp.ac.in).

Step 2 - On the ‘Student’ tab put your cursor, and a drop down will appear.

Step 3 - Click on the ‘Admission’ button from that drop down list.

Step 4 - Select  ‘Apply Online’.

Step 5 - You will be taken to a different page, the ‘MGKVP Entrance Examination’ portal.

Step 6 - Select the ‘Applicant Login’ section to log to the student portal, by using your Username, Password and Captcha.

Step 7 - You must select the 'Apply for Entrance Exams' tab to submit an application for the entrance exam.

Step 8 - From the drop down that will appear select your preferred programme: Certificate/ Diploma/ UG Courses Entrance Exam Application, PG Diploma/ PG Courses Entrance Exam Application, and MCA Admission Application Form.

Step 9 - Following your selection of the ‘Campus’ and ‘Degree Level,’ click ‘Proceed to Application.’

Step 10 - A link to the MGKVP application form will be provided. Carefully complete the form and attach your signature and photo.

Step 11 - 'Save Registration' should be clicked after completion.

Step 12 - You should print the page out as well for further usage.

The B.A course offered at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith Varanasi is of three years duration and is offered in around 11 specialisations. For MGKVP BA admission 2024 both merit and entrance exam results are taken into consideration. The programme has an intake of 750 regular seats and 188 payment seats. 

MGKVP BA Eligibility Criteria 2024

• For BA admission to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith candidates must have passed class 10+2 from a recognised board.
• Candidates must have passed from any stream (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) with at least 45% marks.

The B.Sc course offered here is a self-financed programme. For MGKVP BSc admission 2024, candidates' merit from the previous year and valid entrance test score is considered.

MGKVP BSc Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Candidates must have passed from Science stream, that is with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCM/ PCB) as main subjects with a minimum of 45% marks.
• For Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith B.Sc admission candidates must have passed the 10+2 level exam from a recognised board.

MGKVP BSc Selection Process 2024

• For MGKVP Varanasi BSc admission, the selection process is based on the university-conducted entrance exam.

The Bachelor of Commerce course is offered as a regular program and with an option of an additional Computer Application subject. It has an intake of 125 regular seats and 35 payment seats. The MGKVP BCom admission 2024 is done based on merit and entrance exam.

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level exam from a recognised board.
• Candidates must have passed from any stream with at least 45% marks, for MGKVP Varanasi BCom admission.

MGKVP BCom Selection Process 2024

• For admission to the B.Com course, the selection process is based on the MGKVP Entrance Test.

The Bachelor of Law course has an intake of 60 students. There is no option for payment seats in this programme. To take MGKVP LLB admission 2024, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and score well in the entrance exam. 

MGKVP LLB Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level exam from a recognised board with at least 45% marks, from any stream.
• For MGKVP LLB admission, they must have passed with a Graduation Degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ ST category candidates) in any field.

MGKVP LLB Selection Process 2024

• For admission to the LLB course, the selection process requires passing the MGKVP Entrance Test.

The M.A course at the university has around 19 specialisations. To take admission to MGKVP Varanasi in the M.A programme, candidates must meet the criteria given below:
