• Indian National Girl from West Bengal who has passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in the year of application.
• The Girl must have passed the 12th class in 2025 from any Board and studying Basic Science/ Medicine/ Engineering in any institute in West Bengal.
• Only girls who have enrolled in some undergraduate program after the 12th class can apply for this scholarship.
• Diploma course students are not eligible, only degree course students should apply.

The Bigyani Kanya Medha Scholarship amount awarded by JBNSTS is enormously generous. The student will receive INR 2000 each month for five years to complete her higher studies.

• To advance to the second phase of selection, students must first take a written test.
• The second phase of selection includes an interview in which selected candidates will appear.
