JoSAA Round 2 IIT Cutoff 2025 will be released on June 25, 2025 at josaa.nic.in. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the JoSAA Cutoff 2025 for IITs Round 2 in the form of opening and closing ranks along with the JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025. As per Round 1 Cutoff analysis, IIT Bombay CSE turned out to be the most competitive with its opening rank as 1 and closing rank as 66, followed by IIT Delhi with OR as 3 and CR as 99. The third position was taken by IIT Kanpur with OR marked at 100 and CR as 213. However, for round 2, a slight relaxation can be expected for IITs like IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. JoSAA Round 2 NIT cutoff 2025: The round 2 cutoff for admission to NIT (National Institute of Technology) is expected to be higher than the previous year's cutoff, as the JoSAA Round 1 cutoff 2025 witnessed a surge. JoSAA cutoff is usually declared within a few hours after the announcement of the seat allotment result. The closing rank for the round 1 counselling for computer science and engineering for the year 2024 was 68 and IIT Bombay, whereas it is 66 for the current year. On the other hand, the closing rank for mechanical engineering at NIT Trichy for the year 2024 was 14,173, whereas it was 13,628 in 2025. JoSAA round 2 cutoff will officially be released today, June 25 along with JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025. 

JoSAA IIIT Round 2 Cutoff 2025: The JoSAA Round 2 IIIT cutoff 2025 will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority on June 25, 2025, at their official website josaa.admissions.nic.in. The JoSAA IIIT cutoff 2025 for Round 1 was released on June 14, and there was a slight surge in the cutoffs compared to the previous year. According to the JoSAA round 1 cutoff 2025, the IIT Nagpur CSE (Data Science & Analytics) cutoff was 26981. On the other hand, the IIIT Kota round 1 ECE cutoff 2025 was 30755. JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2025: The JoSAA Round 2 seat allotment 2025 was released on June 25, 2025. The document verification and reporting for Round 2 will be done from June 25 to 29, 2025. It is mandatory for the candidates to complete the JoSAA round 2 verification & reporting as per the scheduled timeline to make sure that the allotted seat does not get cancelled. WB OBC Reservation Issue affects B.Tech admissions: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 results have been delayed due to a legal issue surrounding the state's OBC reservation policy. Over 1 lakh students awaiting B.Tech admissions are anxious about the delay, which stems from a Calcutta High Court ruling that reduced OBC reservations from 17% to 7%. The court found that some communities were included based on religion rather than backwardness.
