The admissions process at Aryabhatta College is entirely online. Candidates seeking admission must apply online through the official website. Admission to UG courses is based on CUET scores, which are then followed by e-counseling. Candidates must have completed their 10th and 12th grades with a total of 40% to be eligible for the UG courses offered. The program-specific eligibility requirements differ from course to course.
The marks achieved by the candidate in CUET will be used to compute the total marks based on the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and admitting students to undergraduate programs. Admissions into Aryabhatta Degree College will be based on the admission procedures and prescribed course-wise eligibility criteria of the University of Delhi. The students can check the Aryabhatta College cutoff and selection process for each course which is provided here.
The admission process commences with an online registration usually in the mid of May every year. A common application form needs to be filled out through the official portal of Delhi University using a valid email id which will later be used for future correspondence regarding admission. After the successful application process, the application fee can be paid via online means. The fee for the General/ OBC/ Sports/ ECA category is INR 100 and INR 50 for SC/ ST/ PWD.
For admission in B.Com, the candidate must have scored a minimum of 40 and 45 percent respectively in 10+2 from any recognized board. And the admission in B.Sc. Hons. and B.Sc. the candidate must have scored a minimum of 55 and 45 percent respectively in aggregate in any three relevant subjects along with a compulsory language from any recognized board. As for the BA Hons. the candidate must have scored a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate in three elective subjects in the qualifying exam and one compulsory language from any recognized board.
The selection of the candidate to Aryabhatta Degree College B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc courses is different. For selection into e BA and B.Com courses, the marks secured by the candidates in the “Best of Four” subjects will be considered while for B.Sc courses in Aryabhatta College, the candidates’ PCM or PCB aggregate will be calculated. Based on the aggregate of the candidates in the “Best of Four” and “Best of Three” subjects, candidates who qualify for the Aryabhatta College cutoff criteria will be selected.
