Aurora Design Institute (ADI) is a higher educational institute of design and architecture offering admission to a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course. The undergraduate architecture course offered by Aurora Design Institute is approved by the Council of Architecture (COA) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The eligibility criteria for admission to the BArch course at Aurora Design Institute is given below.
Candidate must have cleared Class 12th (Standard XII / HSC / Intermediate / 10 + 2) or equivalent exams from a recognized board.
Candidate must have studied Mathematics as a mandatory subject at the Intermediate level.
Candidates must have received a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates who have completed a 2 or 3-year Diploma course after Class 10th / SSC / High School i.e (10 + 2) or (10 + 3) years of education are also eligible to apply. The Diploma course must be recognized by a Central or State Government.
Candidate must have appeared in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and scored at least 40% marks.
The admission of candidates to the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) course at Aurora Design Institute is done on the basis of merit.
The Aurora Design Institute BArch merit list is created as per the performance of a candidate in the NATA entrance exam as well as in the qualifying exams for the BArch course.
For calculation of rank of a candidate for BArch selection at Aurora Design Institute, 50% weightage is given to the NATA score of a candidate + 50% weightage is provided to the score in the qualifying examination.
