Apart from the above ,the college has a Physics laboratory and a very small Computer Science room and a student Union Room of its own.In addition to it the college has been able to acquire an abandoned dilapidated primary school recently from the KMC for 66years lease in order to extend its academic activities by reconstructing it in near future.
The College library with the reading room,co-shared by other two colleges has a rich collection of valuable old books and journals-some of them are rare apart from a good stock of new titles on various subjects.The working hours in the library are four hours on the working days as there is the problem of overlapping after a stipulated time of the College because Bangabasi College starts from 10.30 A.M.The institution possesses a play ground and pavilion on the Calcutta Maidan,shared by three college.With the active active co-operation of students Union ,College organises inter class football and cricket completion ,Inter college table tennis competition and Carrom tournament.The Annual Sports of the college is very colorful where not only the boys and girls students participate but also non-teaching and teachers actively participate.In addition to it there is a spacious and beautiful auditorium ,co-shared by the three college where meetings seminars and cultural activities are regularly held.In cheap Canteen students collect food articles and snacks at a cheap rate.
National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhiji’s Birth Centenary Year 1969, in 37 Universities involving 40,000 students with primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service.
In the year 2009 the college started an NSS wing. As per the National Service Scheme, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Govt. of India, the NSS of our college works with a primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service. The wing regularly arrange programmes on important social and environmental issues like water crisis, thallassaemia awareness, importance of greenery and also perform social works in slums and villages. Intra-College Quiz Contest was organised by NSS on 27.08.2010 for generation of environmental awareness. Plantation and maintenance of potted plants in college premises are other regular activities of the NSS. The wing has a maximum capacity for 150 volunteers. Regular participation of NSS wing in programme organised by the University of Calcutta and other colleges and winning trophies and medals are noteworthy.
NCC was started in the college in 2003. For first two years the college NCC was under a Care Taker Officer (CTO) Sri Debashish Chowdhury Assistant Professor in History. Thereafter the CTO was sent for 4 months training to Officers’ Training Academy OTA Indian Army, Kamptee Nagpur in November 2005. The course called PRCN (Pre Commission Course NCC) carried on till February 2006, which made the CTO a Commissioned Officer of NCC Indian Army Wing with the rank of Lieutenant and the position of Associate NCC Officer (ANO). The Unit with which the college NCC is affiliated is 1 Bengal Battalion NCC, Kol ‘C’ group, West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate. The address of the unit is Jodhpur Park, Kolkata-68. The college unit is ½ Coy with a strength of 150 cadets distributed over 1st, 2nd and 3rd years.
The college cadets have successfully participated in CATC camps, Thal Sena Camps TSC, Mavalankar Shooting Camp, NIC and RDC. The cadets have excelled in all these camps. Our cadet Pintoo Kushwaha got Governor’s Medal in 2007. Senior Under Officer Piyush Jha has got employed in Indian Army Education Corps in 2010. Our Junior Under Officer Bandana Orao got employed as personnel of West Bengal Police. Our Girl Cadet Farzana Begum received Nursing Training in Army Command Hospital, New Alipur, Kolkata.
Nature plays an important role in shaping the character of human beings. In an urban area in which Bangabasi Morning College is situated there is little scope to enjoy and appreciate nature and her beauty. Nature Club, registered under West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961, Sl. No. 32503 of 2014-15, is a special wing of the college. Along with field visits in various places of environmental significance tree plantation is an important activity of the club.
Infrastructure: The College infrastructure is more or less good. There is free WiFi, Science Laboratory, Library and Canteen facilities. But the College Building is very congested and the nearby road is very dirty.
Hostel: Currently there the College doesn't offer any hostel facility at all. But one can get a good PG in the neighborhood at a minimal rent.The College's proximity to the Sealdah Station helps to get a good transport connection.
Infrastructure: You will not get some fancy colorfull stuff. It is a old academic building. Classrooms are big having huge space. Not so good that you can show off on social media.
Hostel: There is no hostel alloted exclusively for the students of this college. You can easily rent rooms in affordable price near college. Lots of options for three time meal.
Infrastructure: This college had a good build infrastructure, specially our college has every department for different courses.. This college hava a common room hall where students use to play some indoor games. There is women common room Separately Overall it's a good infrastructure in our college
Hostel: There is a no hostel facility in our college student use to have mesh or pg for there living.. Students are live in some place like mesh,pg, house rent etc and go college..
