Computer Science and Engineering, B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Arch, B.B.A., B.C.A., M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering, M.E. Wireless Communication, M.B.A., etc. are a few of the programmes available for BIT Patna admissions. The eligibility criteria for students taking admission to BIT Patna's B.E./B. Arch programme is the JEE Main exam scores. Through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) / JoSAA, admission to B.Arch and B.Tech/B.E. is offered based on AIR in JEE Main (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). Applicants for the B.B.A. and B.C.A. programmes are admitted based on their performance in the qualifying Class 12/ intermediate/ equivalent test.
M.B.A. candidates must pass the CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT exams before moving on to the group discussion and personal interview. The candidates are ultimately chosen based on their achievement in the competitive admission exam (CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT percentile), group discussion, and personal interviews.
Candidates must take the GATE exam in order to be admitted to the M.Tech. programmes in computer science and engineering and wireless communication. For BIT Patna M.Tech admissions, the GATE score receives an 80% weighting, while academic performance receives a 20% weighting. For admissions purposes, non-GATE-eligible candidates receive an interview score of 20% and an academic performance score of 80%.
Candidates who want to enrol in BIT Patna's undergraduate or postgraduate programme must be eligible and successfully complete the admissions process for that programme.
