BIT Mesra B.E in Chemical Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: I am currently a BTech student at BIT Mesra. The college is high-quality in terms of education and facilities. The course fee can seem like a bit high for some. But I think its worth it. BTech course fee is 2,85,000 annually.

Placement: Placement is a major highlight at our college. Last year, BTech students go the highest package of Rs 51 LPA. This year also, we expect to reach a similar kind of number in terms of placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has all kinds of facilities on the campus. We have a central library for studies. There is a canteen & shopping complex that we use to relax after our classes. We also have a healthcare centre for any kind of medical assistance.

Faculty: Most of our teachers are graduates from IITs and NITs. So, we get to learn a lot from them. I really like how they take our classes through a blend of theoretical and practical lessons.

Overall: Starting from the day 1, the campus is very greenery and quiet large and peaceful as well. Then comes the management section which is also quite friendly.there is zero ragging in the campus.

Placement: Placement is better than some of the nits in computer science branch. But coming to lower branches like production, mechanical, civil, the placement stats are not so satisfying.

Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, we cant deny the fact that the land provided to the college is the land under forest department.so the constitution of new buildings is difficult.but the infrastructure wont bother u anytime.

Faculty: The faculty members are quiet experienced. They are very helpful as well. The fact is that thery won't come to you to guide personally.you have to reach them for issues.

Hostel: The hostel in terms of rooms and services provided to us is good.The mess is better than some of the nits. All though everyone coming from different background may not be satisfied.

Overall: They focus on practical knowledge and workshops and also be proactive with internships. I have good experience there. I got valuable skills. Hostel maintenance should be required to improve and ensure excellent service.

Overall: College life in this college is good and happening you get to explore the huge lavish green campus. Talking about the placements the college conducts varios seminars by successful alumnis.

Placement: We get to interview for internship from 3 rd year . The college has a designated tnp cell which helps us to get ready for placements and perform good in interviews .

Infrastructure: College is spread over a huge area and have a designated department for each of its department. College has various labs for research and development.

Faculty: Faculty in bit mesra are quite good qualified and eligibile to teach. We have a mentorship program in which we we are assigned a mentor to solve our doubts and issues regarding studies

Hostel: Hostel life in this campus is good for boys. We have a common bathroom for each corridors which frequently gets cleaned . The mess food can be good and worst sometimes .

Overall: Was a good and worthy college when I joined in 2019 with a good campus and infrastructure. Decent placements had been always a good aspect but now it’s depriciating .. decline in placements percentage and huge increment in seats is a possible reason for this .. but still had a good experience and also got a job .

Placement: Many good companies visit today also but the percentage of placements is decreasing . If you are core , you need to think a while and take decision for career .. cse Ece IT(now AI) were the branches where students got mostly placed but this stats has also depriciated

Infrastructure: Had decent labs( not the very best) but almost all the infrastructure you would expect from a better than average college . Big campus and Wi-Fi in most parts of campus .. liberty depending on the circumstances.

Faculty: Only if you are unlucky you will get some hod’s whose motive will be to be strict and make you fear .. rest are generally supportive and very understanding..

Hostel: 12-14 hostels were there at our time . Some for freshers (h-10) where double and triple sharing criteria were used .. unhygienic but bearable . Mess also is the same .. but you can adjust .

Overall: Birla institute of technology Ranchi offers program including undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. The faculties here are highly qualified and has expertise in various research fields. Hostels here are quite big to be accommodated easily. Also the washrooms are clean and tidy. The placements here are quite decent.This year, the Case average package is 18 lpa which is good during the recession days. Also, overall average package is above 10 lpa.

Placement: Placements are good at bit Mesra department having average placement of above 18 lakh per annum and overall average placement is above 11 lakh. Placements have been going down due to recession but college has still maintained good placement records

Infrastructure: Lush green campus along with a big giant main building containing all the departments in it there are a few well maintained cafeteria's which are quite popular among the students and provide a good space to enjoy their leisure time apart from the main building there is also a RND building exclusively for the computer science department.

Faculty: The faculty at Bit Mesra are highly qualified individuals with advance degrees from respected institutions. The faculty members holds expertise in various research fields and provides personalize attention to students.

Hostel: There are 13 big size hostels which have quite decent facilities of accommodation also these hostels are regularly cleaned and sanitation is maintained on a regular basis moreover the mess facility is quite good and the food being quite okay.

Overall: College has got an excellent placement history but recently placements has been going down due to recession but still college has maintained its placement record having placements for CSE department above 18 lakh

Placement: Recently there has been a dip in placements due to recession but college has still maintained good placement records for all branches With CSE department having average placement of 18 lakhs per annum and overall average placement of 11 lakh

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite decent with a grand main building having all departments.There are 13 hostels in campus with quite decent accomodating facilities.College also has a seperate R&D building for CSE department.

Faculty: Faculty at Bit Mesra comprise of highly qualified individuals with every teacher having a doctorate degree in their respective fields and are also very helpful to the students but sometimes the lectures become very boring.

Hostel: There are 13 hostels with decent accomodation facilities.Staff is good and hostels are regularly maintained and mess facilities are also decent.Food is also quite decent.

Overall: Overall experience in my college is good. Good infrastructure, outstanding in sports facilities, average mess food, proper hygienic control. Outstanding in extra curricular activities and advancement of clubs and societies

Placement: Overall placement is good , especially in CSE department. Ave package around 20 lpa and highest package 58 lpa. And for other departments average package,it's around 10 lpa. Companies which come are Microsoft, Google, infosys, Mahindra, Tata etc.

Faculty: Not all departments professor are good. Ece department faculty is not good. But other departments are very helpful in course And also they can help in problem solving personally.

Hostel: Inside the hostel, connection with hostel faculty is good. They always supportive in bad situation. Electronic and water supply is very good. Cleaners clean Washroom and bathroom everyday.

Overall: Hi myself utsav sharma from dhanbad,Jharkhand. Studied in bit mesra , i will be sharing my experience. Overall experience was nice and amazing i would rather 7 out of 10.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure are great and amazing . Main building ka design is just amazing. 750+ acres mein college ha so be prepared for walking a long distance on a daily routine. Cycle are must.

Faculty: Faculty in bit mesra are great. But some teacher are just like hitler. Unko marks cut karna sa koi rok nhi sakta. But at the same time some teachers are just woowww. There way of making concept clear is just amazing. Overall great faculty with few hitler like teacher

Hostel: Hostel are just great . Design of maximum hostel are more or less same especially hostel 1 , 2 , 3 & 4 . Hostel mein cleanliness is good, but mess food quality is not soo good. Oil thoda jada rahega , water filters sa chlorine water jada aayega.
