Overall: Hello all! I am Raghav, an MBA pass out from Chandigarh University. If I summarise my entire experience at the university in one line, then I would say that the university provides comprehensive learning. Yes, there is a bit of everything that a student expects from his or her college or university. Starting with academics, it has global connections with many foreign countries like Russia, Canada, Italy, etc. The teachers are also helpful. The college campus is very beautiful and lively. All facilities are easily accessible. Hostels are very homely and there are many luxury facilities available in the hostels. Moreover, the placements are also good, especially for the MBA courses.

Placement: If you are a B.Tech or MBA student at the university, then the chances of you getting placed are high than other courses. However, depending on your academic record, you can get placed in various other fields as well. So, for MBA, the highest CTC of my batch was Rs 28 lakh per annum. While I got placed in Amazon, many of my classmates got placed in firms like Toshiba and Cognizant.

Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable at the university. Maximum professors are PhD holders. Moreover, as I mentioned earlier, the course curriculum is very advanced and appropriate. We were not only taught the theoretical concepts but also were given practical experience wherever needed.

Hostel: The hostels are very nice at CU. They not only have basic amenities like a table and chair, wi-fi, bedding, water cooler, etc., but they also have luxurious facilities like a saloon on campus, a shopping area from where you can get daily essentials, a laundry facility, as well as a gymnasium. Gradually, the hostel will become like your second home due to the comfort provided there.
