Overall: DSCE is a good college with exposure and extra curricular in terms of placement it’s 8.5 LPA avg for ECE and 10LPA for CSE related branches superb clubs and overall very nice college life
Placement: For ECE it’s 8.5LPA avg and for CSE Related branches it’s 10LPA avg but as there are 20 branches overall Including CE,ME,Aero, Automobile, Biotech and all overall avg stands 4.5-5 LPA and
Infrastructure: DSCE is located in the centre of Bangalore city and access to all the places like malls and markets is very convenient and metro nearby lush green campus
Faculty: As you are a college student you can’t expect that much from a college faculty they won’t entertain you or take much interest they are highly qualified ones but don’t expect much YouTube will be your teacher
Hostel: There are two types of Hostels Indian Hostel and NRI Hostel both of them are not at all worth it and over priced better to go with some good PGs for lesser price and walking distance of 100-200 m
Overall: Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering established in 1970 is an excellent university to pursue Engineering course It has the facioity for many clubs in various fields These clubs help students in gaining practical knowledge and hands on experience over several projects related to ur course The college may not have a boasting infrastructure but has well maintained campus. You will have variety of oppurtunites to build your career path.
Placement: The college has enough companies for placement in it sector but with developmemts in chip manufacturing sector in india there moght be surge in ece placements but usually there isnt much placements for ece core most of the placements are in it sector Overall it mostly depends on the student and his skills developed over the years the college is known for mass placements not high rewarding packages yet it si a good start for a beginner remeber it all depends on the student
Infrastructure: The infastructure is not that boasting type but still manageable. The campus is a little congested. Parking area is way too congested but not much issue one good thing is the campus is well maintained and clean
Faculty: As I was in ece department so i can only provide info abt ece dept. Professors are really strict and little egoistic but it might help us to take up our subjects seriously and attendance is not much of a problem
Hostel: Hostel are of two types NRI and indian hostel both the hostels have their own separate food menu and canteens indian hostel is cheaper but nri has better facilities both hostel food is okayish obviously not better than homemade food
Overall: College environment is much good . But some of the teachers were not friendly. They are very rash and rude. Some teachers are not well experienced. Placements are average for hardware companies.
Placement: Placements for software companies is very good. When we Come to hardware there are only upto 5 companies which come for Placements , it's better to not have hopes for hardware company Placements.
Infrastructure: The college is very spatial and it has different buildings for every department. Lifts are there in many of the buildings. There is only one ground for all the sports which is not enough.
Faculty: Faculty differs from each and every one, notes is properly sent with every details but teaching the topics is not up to the mark. Some faculties are very rude and harsh to the students.
Overall: When it comes to overall rating there are so many things one have to look after like the placements, the college professor's , college campus and the competitiveness among the students... So dsce have competitive ness among their student and other than than everything is just average and even below average.
Placement: You will get the average placement of around 2-3 lakh if you just passed the degree with good cgpa, however if you want a good average package you have to put effort from your own side and by learning skills in those 4 year so that you will end up having good placement.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure of dsce, dsce have buildings of each branch except few new added branches (in Btech) , have a canteen near indian hostel mess.
Faculty: Talking about the faculty of dsce, the faculty have knowledge, some of them have done their higher education from iit/nit.but the average knowledge delivering is just okay okay. In our department faculty are seems like exhausted and make students life pressurize.
Hostel: Talking about the hostel of dayanand sagar college of engineering (dsce). It has two hostel one is NRI hostel and the other one is indian hostel, both hostels are overpriced. In indian hostel there is 4 sharing worth around 1 lakh 60k and in NRI hostel 2 sharing worth 2lakh believe me none of the hostel are worth taking.
Overall: The is overall good, about placement, education and good faculties. The teacher's have good communication with students. And better opportunity are available.
Placement: For computer science, electronics and communication and civil engineering students have good placement in this college. And others branches also have good placement.
Infrastructure: It's an amazing and beautiful building we have in this college and good weather. The college is left clean every day. But their is a little problem in the college in classroom.
Faculty: Teachers are good skilled in their work. And they have well educated persons. They friendly with the students as well parents. Not all the Teacher's.Good ....
Hostel: In hostel their is a better rooms and we have good, better and tasty food when compared to outside food in Bengaluru. For hostelers their is a ground.
Overall: Overall my experience was good. Fest and DJ nights also go on. College have different cultural clubs also which goes to different colleges for competition. Studies is always done one night before. Everyday is new with new friends and new types of fun. I mostly found people of Karnataka as my friends and they were good .
Placement: Placements fully depend on your cgpa and skills. It has a very little scope as per branch. It is just that Cs students get more opportunity than other student to sit in the placement. Prepare your resume well and remember they could ask questions about the skills that u gave in resume. In this college good companies come but u should try off campus also.
Infrastructure: The campus is 29 acre which is in kumaraswamy layout. It is big and greenery. For every department, there is different buildings. We need to climb so much because this college is made on hills. This college is in center of banglore so market area is near the college only. The college have big buildings with three libraries. In the 29 acre campus they beautifully made the campus.
Faculty: Some teachers are cooperative and if u say ur problem they will understand. But main problem is attendance of 85%,the teacher gets chance to scold u on this ground. In class teachers just open the projector and on every slide they will say two points. By this they will expect you to score full marks. If it comes to ur marks some teachers will try their best to make u pass in exam.
Hostel: Hostel fees is too high. The girls hostel has four sharing rooms and they have common washroom. The mess food is okay enough to eat but some days the food smells stingy. In breakfast we will get stuffs like dosa, idli, bread, pav bhaji. In lunch we will get rice, sambhar, vegetable. In snacks we get puff, biscuits, dilpasand. At night we get rice, chapati and vegetables. But boys nri hostel is very good. Too sharing, attached washroom and they have playing room also.
