As per the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore admission process, B.Tech aspirants have to appear for JEE Main, KCET or COMEDK and obtain a valid score. As per the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore admission 2023 for B.Tech courses, JEE Main 2024 session 1 results has been released. Candidates can download the same from jeemain.nta.nic.in using their JEE Main application form number and password. KCET is tentatively scheduled to be conducted from the first or second week of February whereas COMEDK will be conducted in the month of March 2023. Candidates must note that for RGIT Bangalore admission 2023, they also need to participate in the COMEDK/KCET counselling.

Established in the year 2001 by Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust (R), Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, and is also accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The RGIT campus is built in the heart of Bangalore city. The RGIT campus is situated near the Bangalore airport at a distance of 7 km and the railway station is 15 km away from the campus. Aiming to achieve educational excellence, the institute has a great infrastructure and teaching facilities. The RGIT Bangalore has a well-constructed administrative building as well as several other rooms and amenities for the students, including a common area for boys and girls, a waiting area, a cooperative store, well-equipped labs, and so on. The infrastructure contains well-furnished classrooms, LCD Projectors, Audio systems, and so on.
The institute offers 15 courses to students including engineering programs, MBA, and PhD in engineering. Interested candidates can take admission to RGIT Bangalore courses via a competitive entrance exam. The exam is carried out by the concerned authority with the approval of the college. At present, there are two Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore admission entrance test that is conducted by two different authorities, COMEDK entrance test is for all students, and KEA (CET Cell) entrance test is for Karnataka students. The merit list will be released for the selected candidates for their counselling. The college has a free application form available for students who want to take admission to the management and NRI category. Admission for these categories would be based on a merit list according to the candidate's cumulative marks in the qualifying examination's optional subjects. Once the selected students have paid the RGIT fees, there will be no refund.
Also, if there is any student who is neither reporting nor paying the fee will be considered as a cancellation and the next merit student will be given a chance for the said vacancy. RGIT B.Tech Eligibility 2024
The candidates who are applying for admission at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore must have cleared the 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary school examination or any relevant eligibility test with a minimum aggregate mark of 45% in any of the optional subjects like Physics and mathematics along with Computer Science or Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology.
