Canteen & Cafeteria

A variety of hygienic and nutritious food items are available in the DPCOE canteen.

The canteen provides onsite dining, food and beverage vending, a relaxed ambience and follows highest standards for food quality. The canteen plays host to several interesting conversations between students and faculty on a regular basis. It is an informal environment that encourages open conversation, and promotes the overall culture of innovation and creativity on campus.

College provide various cuisines ranging from Indian, Chinese, South Indian, sandwiches and many options for drinks like fresh fruit juices, cold drinks, coffee and tea that are sure to take care of all our students’ requirements and preferences.

Class Rooms and Seminar Halls

At Dhole Patil College of Engineering we leave no stone unturned to provide the best infrastructure to our students. Our class rooms and seminar halls are well-furnished with comfortable seating arrangement and good acoustics. These halls have teaching aids like LCD projectors, screens & audio visual and multimedia facilities for presentations, discussions and making analysis. We have a Stationery Centre and a Departmental Store to fulfill the daily requirements of our students.

The meticulous planning and foresight of the management has ensured that every facility has been provided – laboratories, spacious classrooms, vast library, clean hostels etc; to guarantee an environment that is intellectually stimulating and physically invigorating. The consistent and high-quality performance of our alumni has given the college an edge over other institutions, thereby earning a reputation of honesty, integrity and innovative education.

The academic infrastructure is fully developed to meet the requirements of different disciplines; not only up to final year but also for higher studies. Sophisticated and modern equipment have been added to facilitate Research and Development work.

The courses have been designed to bring out every aspect of Engineering that has relevance in the contemporary world.

Each Department is led by a senior academician with adequate experience. Needless to say, these Departments are clusters of knowledge, and contain an atmosphere where theory and practice, combine to give students a holistic view of their chosen discipline.

Hostel

The college hostel is located in the college campus, and has a capacity of 250 students. It has well furnished rooms, each with a table, a chair, a cupboard, a fan, attached toilet block, 24 hours security, generator backup, purified drinking water, and hot water facility through solar heating. The hostel has a safe, peaceful and disciplined environment. For students’ convenience, we have also included a reading hall, for students who would like to study extra hours. We also carry out free medical checkups regularly, as per rules and regulations. College campus also includes indoor and outdoor sports facilities to help students maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Library

A college library is like a time-machine that takes college students to various technological eras and the far-history of human behavioral patterns. At DPCOE, the library is spacious, well-ventilated and has a large seating capacity. Our library has a rich collection of technical and soft skill books for Engineering and Management students. We also have autobiographies of entrepreneurs, motivational books, journals, research papers and e-journals too. This saves our students the effort to collect study material from various sources. Supportive facilities like printouts, photocopies, etc. are also available at our library.

Medical Emergency

Health of college students is our top priority, and medical attention cannot be ignored. In case of emergencies, we have a doctor on campus at all hours who can address such unfortunate situations immediately. We also have facilities to rush our students to hospitals for immediate care.

Transport

The college provides for a bus facility from different locations so that students and staff commuting from any location within Pune can have a pick up and drop. College provide travelling facility from Ubale Nagar to the campus for all visitors free of cost. We have a fleet of 3 buses that are sufficient for our campus and off-campus requirements.

Gymnasium

Just a stone’s throw from college hostel and canteen, college have fully equipped gymnasium to encourage our students to live healthy and fit lives. Designed to help students plan their own work outs, the gym’s equipment can provide a complete cardio workout, rounded off by light weights, abdominal training and stretching areas.
