In recent years the University has made a multi-million Rupee investment in modern, safe and secure accommodation designed to the highest standard. The on-campus residences with their modern en-suite rooms make you settling in a breeze. Hostels in DIT University are like a home-away-from-home! The University ensure that the inmates are comfortable and are provided with a congenial environment to pursue their studies. The hostel rooms are well ventilated and adequately furnished. The Hostel provide a separate box-bed with mattress, a study table, chair and a wardrobe to each student. Rooms are designed like an apartment with adequate toilets.
The on-campus boys’ residences can accommodate 1,200 boys while the girls’ residences accommodate over 1,000 girls in comfort. All residences have modern and well equipped kitchens and dining halls where food is cooked and served in clean and hygienic conditions. The dining halls can serve over 600 boys and 400 girls at any given time. To ensure pest-free surroundings, pest control services are utilized. Purified cold and warm water (during winters) is provided to the students. The Weekly menu is well planned in consultation with the Students’ Mess Committee to provide variety, nutritious and wholesome food to the students. Special meals are provided on festivals.

Hostel provides feeling of Home-Away-From-Home to the students. Keeping in view the same philosophy we provide a secure, comfortable and healthy environment for all the residents of the DIT University hostels. The hostel accommodation comprises of American style apartments which are well furnished, hygienic and have ultramodern amenities. Each apartment has three rooms shared by two students each, a lobby and attached bathrooms. The hostel premises has common TV room, tuck-shops (having stationary, barber, bakery, juice etc. shops) and state of the art indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostel campus has an excellent modern gymnasium with a trainer. The entire hostel premises are Wi-Fi enabled and has a separate computer centre with 24X7 internet facility.
Presently, there are four in-campus boys' hostel viz. Raman, Bose, Bhabha and Sarabhai with a total capacity of accommodating around 1,200 boys. University also has a separate in-campus Girls’ Hostels viz. Sarojini Girls’ Hostel which can accommodate around 900 girl students. The new Girls’ Hostel will be ready by the beginning of the next academic session.

Amperanza is a technical club of electrical engineering students. The motive of the club is to improve technical, practical and reasoning skills of the students and it also provides helping hands to society. It provides a platform to student for learning, creating and improvising their professional skills. This club helps students to develop their recreational, competitive and instructional abilities. Involvement in this club can enhance student’s collegiate experience and contribute to a well-rounded education.

DIT Impulse is a club formed & managed by the students of DIT University. Our club aims to encourage students to take positive and systematic steps to pursue personal development.
DIT Motoracing is a formula team based in DIT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The team comprises of passionate members all possessing enthralling automotive & management skills. The objective of the team is to design, manufacture, fabricate, test and race an open-wheel Formula Style race car over a span of one year. The team is progressing to its 5th year. The team participates FSI (FORMULA STUDENT INDIA), which is an international competition. After achieving a 4th position in the Endurance event, we have become a force to reckon with. It gave us the much needed appreciation from the renowned personalities of the automobile sector like Pat Clarke, Claude Rouelle, Mehak Modi and Steve Fox. The team is branched into two major departments’ technical and management. The technical department works on the various components of the car namely Design, Suspension & Steering, Braking & tires, Powertrain, Drivetrain and Electrical. The management department works on external affairs, sponsorship and documentation. High coordination between these two departments is key behind the successful fabrication of the car.

The first ever Music club of DIT, “Mesmeronica”, was inaugurated on 26th September, 2014 under the guidance and blessings of our faculty advisor Dr. Vijay Kumar, Director Academic Administration Prof. Shishir Kumar. The event underlined the passion and perseverance of the organizing team and all the participants.
Just as Plato said, “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything”, it is our belief that fervent practice and wise guidance would propel the club members to better their skills, in ways that are not possible by singular efforts, which would help them be at peace with oneself and also improve their intellectual aptitude. The club aims to provide musicians and music enthusiasts with a platform and necessary guidance to achieve non-dependent and accurate knowledge and experience.
M-Gambit established in the year 2011 is a departmental club formed under the umbrella of department of management studies DIT University by the combined efforts of the faculty & students. The main aim of this club is to enhance the imitative skills of the students and prepare them to face competition.

Prithvi club is the first environment club of the DIT University which was formed on November 2014. The club is working toward creating awareness among students and faculties of DIT University. The University organize environment related competitions periodically to interact with the students like swacchta abhiyaan , nukaad natak, tee- artista etc . The swachta abhiyaan was a top show as it attracted many people within DIT University.

The club “SAMARTHYA” was established in year 2011 by the students of CIVIL DEPARTMENT, DIT UNIVERSITY Dehradun. The club organises different type of events which not only enhance the theoretical knowledge but also the practical knowledge in the subjects of civil engineering. The idea of the club is to aware and to acknowledge the students the real meaning of civil engineering.

SPIC MACAY, “The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth”, is a nonprofit voluntary organization dedicated to promoting an awareness of Indian culture in educational institutions throughout India. In 2011, the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavna award was given to the movement by Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Spic macay chapter of DIT University was inaugurated on 9th April, 2012. Since then a number of Classical music, dance, folk art, craft, and folk theatre programmes have been organized in the university. DIT University has been making commendable efforts in this noble mission by inviting artists from time to time and enlightening the students from their magnanimous talents.
Hostel: The food of the hostel which they provided is good and unlimited food and it is good to taste. The security of the students is very high. In hostel you get bed also.
Infrastructure: The institute has well-equipped classrooms with audio-visual aids, making the learning environment conducive to academic excellence. also offers an extensive library stocked with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Infrastructure: There is a separate building for B.Tech. CSE, which includes a library. Classrooms are fitted with either two or four fans, according to their size. There is proper light. There are Wi-Fi facilities during university hours. There are thousands of books in the library. There are ACs in the library. There are four hostels for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students. 1st year students share rooms with three beds. 2nd-year students get a single room. 3rd year students share rooms with two beds and 4th year students get a single room. There is no AC but a fan is available in the rooms. When we talked about food, the university hostel provided only vegetarian food. There is no non-veg. They will provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. About games, there are badminton court, basketball court, TT hall, valley ball ground and cricket training pitch
Infrastructure: The college provides hostel facilities for the students on campus. There are 4 hostels for boys called Bhabha, Sarabhai, Bose, and Raman, and 1 hostel for girls called Kasturba. The hostel provides all necessary facilities. There are single rooms and shared rooms. The first-year students are not allotted single rooms. There are separate gyms provided in the girls and boys hostel areas, along with a mess. The food quality is average and degrades as the semester continues. One major issue for the hostellers, especially for the girls, is the timing of the hostels. The girls are not allowed to roam outside the hostel area after 7 p.m., which is a little too restrictive. But the overall environment of the college is safe.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is great. All buildings have Wi-Fi facilities, and the library is very peaceful. Our hostels are also in good condition. Their room structure is quite innovative and well maintained. However, the canteen is poor. The food quality is the worst. The sports grounds are well maintained, but there are no football grounds.
Hostel: The rooms are nice.Well built green campus. college hostel have excellent amenities like good food, free and fast internet, laundry and cleaning services.
Hostel: There is no hostel for students but there are many pg near by the campus area so no students can face any problem with it and public transport Is also available outside the college
Hostel: The facilities provided, including recreation areas and study spaces, enhance the overall quality of life for residents. The hostel staff is attentive, ensuring a smooth and supportive atmosphere.
Infrastructure: Infrastructures of the college is nice and decent. The University has a fully functional computer centre. Classrooms and library were in good condition. Our college had a canteen, medical staff, sports, and games for students. It provides transport facilities which includes buses and railway allowance. The university has a major sports corner for both indoor and outdoor games.
Hostel: I Didn't take hostel facilities and i am not able to tell anything about there hostel facilities. so if you want to take hostel you should contact them for better understanding
Infrastructure: Amazing architecture every department was looks good. College infrastructure is very good. Many facilities are seen in the college,a garden of flowers is present AC class room and projecter present in the class room. Wi-Fi is provided in every classroom and has digital equipment. Our college has a library,and an auditorium in which functions are held.
