The institute has made available 42753 volumes ,11167 titles, 1296 bound volumes of international and national journals and 1680 CD's. In addition central library has subscribed 86 hard copy of periodicals and journals.Central library also has an on line electronic subscription which provides access to published papers of ASCE,ASME,IEEE,DELNET Library Membership which can help in literature survey in connection with research work.

    To facilitate students,specially economically backward students and students belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe, the library provides extra facility in the form of a book bank.This extra facility is also provided to other students at a nominal fee on as required basis.In the library various national , regional ,local news-papers and magazines made available for students, faculty and staff.

    All the books , journals , journals bound volumes record can be accessed through OPAC (Online public access catalogue)The library has spacious reading room and separate reference section .
