The committee has proposed the following key reforms for NEET UG 2025:

Uttar Pradesh NEET (MBBS) Admission 2024 Round 4/stray vacancy round is ongoing. As per the schedule, the document verification and admission to the allocated colleges for the eligible candidates has started on October 30, 2024. The last date for admission is November 5, 2024.The admission process for UP MBBS admission consists of steps like the release of the merit list, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting at the allotted institute. Uttar Pradesh NEET (MBBS) Admission 2024 is ongoing from August 20, 2024. As per the latest update, the NEET UG 2024 Result has been released on June 4, 2024, by NTA.

Candidates seeking admission in medical courses offered by colleges in Uttar Pradesh under 85% state quota need to appear for counselling rounds. Uttar Pradesh MBBS admissions 2024 are done based on the state merit list and scores obtained by students in the exam. UP NEET Counselling 2024 is conducted in 3 rounds, namely, Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3, also known as the Mop-up Round. For each round, a merit list is released. Students whose names appeared in the merit list become eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling. 

UP NEET Merit List 2024 Round 3 merit list was announced on October 10, 2024. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Uttar Pradesh publishes the UP Merit List 2024 on its official website for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the state. It is important to note that the UP NEET Merit List 2024 is released in the online mode only, in a PDF format. The UP NEET Counselling 2024 Stray Round document verification and admission to the allocated colleges started on October 30, 2024. The last date for admission is November 5, 2024. Candidates have to visit the college along with their original documents in order to take the admission. Only students whose name appeared in the state merit list and got seat allocated in the UP NEET Counselling 2024 stray round, will be eligible for the admission round. The UP NEET UG Counselling 2024 is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) every year, in the online mode, offering admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and AYUSH courses across the top medical institutes in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The UP NEET Counselling 2024 is conducted for 85% state quota seats, for all eligible candidates who successfully qualify the NEET UG 2024 Exam. Candidates who secure higher NEET Scores will be eligible to feature on the UP NEET Merit List 2024. Now, only candidates listed under the UP NEET Merit List 2024, will be deemed eligible for participation in the UP NEET Counselling 2024.
