A Pass in the Plus two / Pre-Degree examination of the Universities in Kerala state or examinations considered equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.  SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
