Student Welfare Sub-committee to look into the problems faced by students in day-to-day campus life
Seminar libraries maintained by the Honours Departments and administered by the departmental teachers to facilitate the Honours students
Network Resource Centre in the College Library to be accessed by the students during Library hours, without paying any additional charge.
Self-defense Course to equip the young women students of the College with self-defense skills to cope with the difficulties of working in an increasingly violent world.
An Anti-ragging Cell to look into instances of ragging in any form. The members of the Anti-ragging committee are as follows:
Counselling Cell for the welfare of the students and to initiate awareness programs such as gender sensitization, thalassemia and such others.
Water Purifier and Cooler to provide safe and cool drinking water
Ardent endeavours to provide hygienic environment to all through regular maintenance of the premises
Students of Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College can avail of the Hostel accommodation provided by the Young Womens Christian Association (YWCA).

Eligibility:
i)Unmarried lady students of age group 18-25 years.
ii) Applicant must be pursuing a full time course of studies in Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College.
iii) Applicant must register as support member before taking admission into the hostel.
The NSS unit of Gokhale Memorial Girls' College was formally initiated in 2015. Dr. Gautam Mahata, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry is in charge of the unit and the Programme Officer. The College has taken a very positive effort in motivating the students to participate actively in the programmes that are to be organized by the NSS unit.
Programmes that are likely to be organized by the college under the guidance of the College NSS Unit would include blood donation camp, health check up camp, social outreach programmes and the like.
154th Birthday of Swami Vivekananda
On 12/01/2016, student leaders of the NSS Unit 1 of Gokhale Memorial Girl's College participated in a programme organized by NSS Unit of University of Calcutta at the University College Street Campus to celebrate the 154th Birthday of Swami Vivekananda. They were accompanied by Dr. Sarthak Roy Chowdhury (NSS Coordinator, Gokhale Memorial Girls CollegeUnit 1) and Smt. Sarama Das (Teacher Member of NSS Unit 1)
NSS Activity on 5th December 2015
A "Handicraft Mela" was organized by the student members of NSS Unit - I of the College along with four NGOs on 5th December 2015 in the college grounds. Handmade articles were displayed for sale by the NGOs. Students brought food materials for sale. The proceeds of both would be used for the benefit of the downtrodden represented by the NGOs.
NSS Activity on 05 Jun 2015
Student members along with the NSS Co-ordinator and other teacher members of the NSS Unit-I of Gokhale Memorial Girls' College took part in the programme organized by the University of Calcutta at the University Rowing Club to celebrate the World Environment Day. The day was also observed as "NO PLASTIC DAY" in the College.
Student members of NSS Unit-I organized a "CAMPUS CLEANING" drive in the college grounds.
Student members of NSS Unit-I, teachers and non-teaching staff actively participated in a "TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMME" tree plantation programme on the same day.
Infrastructure: Gokhale memorial college have very neat and clean environment the college makes hostel are also very good and cleans there so much greenary in this college
Hostel: the hostel have the all possible facilities in it in our hostel we have big room all time running water rules are so strict in hostel for the student by warden
Infrastructure: Though the campus is very small .. It has a small ground and mostly 3 buildings of Science and Arts and one is miscellaneous . In recent days some parts of the college has been renovated and furnished with smart classes and all.
Hostel: May be the college suggests hostel/pg for the students who are outsiders or from different cities . I haven't seen or know people who used to live in hostel of college .so I dont have much knowledge about this ...I am sorry .
