Tamil Nadu B.Tech Admissions 2024 -  For TNEA 2024 BTech admissions, the general online counselling for Academic, Government School 7.5% Category, and Vocational categories is being held from July 29 to September 3, 2024. If anyone misses the general counselling, there will be a supplementary counselling session from September 6 to 8, 2024. Make sure to participate in the online counselling during the given dates. Tamil Nadu State Government does not conduct any entrance exam for Tamil Nadu B.Tech admissions 2024. The students are given admission based on merit in Class 12. Students who want to get admission to various colleges across the state need to apply for centralized counselling process, i.e. TNEA. TNEA Counselling 2024 -  The TNEA Round 1 provisional allotments has been declared for first round candidates. The TNEA General Counselling Round 2 is being conducted and the seat allotments for the same has been announced. Based on the allotments, candidates can report to their alloted colleges between Aug 15 to 20, 2024. In Tamil Nadu, admission to BE/ BTech (Bachelor of Technology) courses is conducted through the online counselling process known as TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. The counselling rounds involve steps like registration, certificate verifications, publication of the rank list., choice filling, seat allotment, confirmation of allotment, reporting to the college/TFC, and payment of fees based on their confirmation.
