Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The Computing Facilities comprise of 8 states of the art labs: Programming labs, Operating Systems lab, Internet & Networking labs, Electronics Computer Aided Design lab and the Multimedia Lab. The labs are equipped with 550 machines of latest configuration. The recent developments include installation of two hundred new P-IV computers in the labs. All the labs are internally networked and interconnected to each other to form a LAN. The center has twelve 6 KVA UPS (72 KVA) to provide reliability in case of power failure.

Established in February 2004, D’LangChaps (DLC), GTBIT’s literary society was a brainchild of 6 enthusiastic students. Helping us transform our dreams into reality, we are constantly supported by many dedicated volunteers who work with the sole feeling of making GTBITians proud, along with the administration and the faculty. Initially starting as just a group of students wanting to work to make their own college better, today DLC is a totally recognized and appreciated group of organized yet merry students. DLC was the first official group to come into existence in the college. Pioneering in the spirits of teamwork and team spirit, we work without any hierarchy. We have a history of starting trends and setting the bar for others to follow.

Apart from spreading literary consciousness we also aim towards the total personality development of our fellow GTBITians. Under the able guidance of our foremost convener Dr. Manpreet Kang and our present convenor Ms.Seema Singh, our constant zeal for excellence is aptly tapped.

Our first event, Mindspeak 2k4, the intra college debate and declamation contest was organized in April 2004 and was declared a success. All of our achievements would have been just dreams if we would not have received constant support and appreciation from our honorable ex-Director Maj Gen.(Retd.) S.S.Chahal. Every time we were in jeopardy, his experience and foresight showed us the right direction. We thank all those who have helped us come this far.

is a platform for creative, budding minds, where they can exhibit their oratory skills and try to make a difference in the present day society. It has played a major role in the amelioration of the college’s reputation in the NCR region and getting known in the DU circuit.

Workshops on Vedic Math, MBA preparation , facing interviews , placement preparation , vocab building have also been organized in correspondence with PT Education , Career Launcher , IMS , Mahavir Jain Academy.

Various events like Apprentice (The Real Managerial Event), Talk It Out (Group Discussion), Rhapsodize(Extempore), Bulls n Bears ( Stock Market Simulation) , Enigma ( Brain Teaser event) , Ad Mad ( Advertising ) , Rampage ( LAN Gaming event) have been organized in GATES 2K4 , GATES 2K5 , GATES 2K6

Started in 2002 with the aim to nurture scientific talent and create a technophilic arena, TSG or The Technical Society of GTBIT over the span of 9 years endeavours to provide ample opportunities for the young tech-minds to innovate a world of there own with the finest technical knowledge covering every aspect of Engineering and related fields.

The cultural society of GTBIT is managed by the faculty & students. This society organizes various cultural events in the college such as dramas, music and dance competitions, and much more...

ET-CETERA gives an oppurtunity to the students to make their mark in every field.

This society aims at the holistic development of the students because we,at GTBIT believe that education is not a mere process of stuffing the heads with information. Rather, it is a process of complete nurturing of the body and soul.

This is managed by faculty & students of GTBIT. This society organizes various sports events in the college.

It encourages students to participate in various indoor and outdoor sports, including:

The Model United Nations' Society of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology aims to make students aware of the very recent style of group discussion and debating which involves imitating the United Nations Organization.Founded in February 2012, 

The Model United Nations' Society (MUNistry)

 brought pride and laurels to the college by organizing one of the best , by far the largest Model UN conference, at a collegiate level in India - INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2012 (www.facebook.com/ipumun) (www.ipumun.com).
Convener, Gurveen Singh Grover's support in the process from taking this society from scratch to what it is today has been eminent. Having won many MUN conferences, Angad S Madan, Co-founder and President of the society believes that such a conference does not only inculcate Technical -logical thinking and increases knowledge, but also promotes an opportunity to know students from various colleges across India, which inturn proves to be a brilliantly helpful social network. Each student represents a country in a committee and debates upon the agenda. Might sound a little different but MUNistry believes that this is THE cup of tea for everyone. How would you have shaped the world future, otherwise? Live the lives of leaders. Face world problems. Solve them. Be the leader.

IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.

The IEEE-GTBIT student branch was set up in the year 2008 with the aim to enhance the engineering skills of students in GTBIT. The student branch has been actively involved in achieving these goals and fostering leadership values among not just its members, but also the non-members of the college. The members are involved in organizing events inside the college which include both inter and intra-college events. These events are done to enhance the technical knowledge of IEEE as well as non- IEEE members more sharp and to give an idea about those things which are not part of their curriculum but are important for them in future.

This is a society made to do a noble deed of helping the poor and orphans. We live in a country where we have people born with golden spoons and also people who do not even have the basic amenities of life like food , shelter and clothing. This is just a small effort to help poor people by collecting clothes, food items ,books etc (any item in kind except for money).Our aim is to collect  all necessary sources we can arrange through donation campaigns held in our college. All the things collected our then provided to any orphanage house that needs these things. In 2013 all the donations gathered were send to an Orphanage house named “ManavMandir’ located in Kalu Sarai.This year (i.e. 2014) we our aiming to extend the support not only in orphanage house but also the black spots in any city i.e. the ‘jhugis’ or the slum areas. We just aim to excel in humanitarian services so that we can bring a smile on the face of poor and unwanted. We cannot root out poverty and starvation from our country but a little help at our level would surely help to bring some solace to the afflicted hearts. This is the basic aim that we need this society to excel to the largest extend possible.
