Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology Placement Cell acts as an interface between the Institute and Corporate by inviting them to the campus, where the eligible students are facilitated to go through the entire selection process. The entire process is governed by the student's ability and performance, as well as the requirements and norms of the Industry.
Their Alumni are working in leading companies across India and abroad serving as goodwill ambassadors for their Alma-Mater ensuring more such opportunities for their juniors. Their motto lies in leveraging human capital for competitiveness by nurturing knowledge, entrepreneurship and creativity. They believe it is these strengths that will help one successfully compete in globally and exploit emerging opportunities.
All the reputed organizations as well as the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology has been incurring considerable expenditure along with their valuable time on the placement activities of pre-final year engineering students. Therefore, a student not joining the organization after being finally selected reflects adversely on the Institute and as a result, the organization tends to discontinue their visit to the Institute for future placements. This jeopardizes career opportunities for future students. Taking this fact into consideration, the students therefore should consider appearing in only such campus drives where they are willing to take up the job. Appearing in campus drives just for the sake of testing their abilities should be avoided. Those who have seriously decided to go for higher studies (National/ International) should refrain from sitting in the campus placements held on the Institute premises or any other Pool campus drives. Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology Placements is a facility provided by the Institute and it cannot be claimed as a matter of right.
