Top Engineering Colleges That Offer Admission Without JEE Main Score are BITS Pilani, NSIT Delhi, MIT Pune, CEAU Guindy, MIT Karnataka, and MSRIT Bangalore. The entrance exams other than JEE Mains which are accepted in these colleges are usually divided into state-level and college-level entrance exams. Some of the Private College Engineering Entrance Exams include BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, KEEE, MUEEE, etc. The State-level Engineering Entrance Exams include GUJCET, MHT CET, Assam CET, WBJEE, and EAMCET (TS & AM). The approximate BTech seats available in the colleges that offer admission without JEE Mains differ from 700 to 10,000.

B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions 2025: Entrance Exams, Eligibility Criteria, Admission Process

B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions 2025: B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions 2025 are done through entrance exams like SET, IPU CET, UPSEE, etc, or via the merits of their diploma. Through the B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions 2025 students will be granted direct entry into the second year of a B.Tech degree. Students will join from the third semester of B.Tech degree directly which saves them 1 year. Through B.Tech Lateral Entry student's BTech course is for 3 years (6 semesters) only. As students already have engineering fundamental knowledge through their diploma courses, they are allowed to skip 1st year of the B.Tech degree. B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions 2025 have two gateways. First is through the B.Tech LE entrance exams which are conducted either at the state level or college level.  B.Tech LE entrance exams like UPSEEE is held for B.Tech LE admission into UP colleges, TS ECET for B.Tech 2nd year admission into Telangana, and AP ECET for B.Tech 2d year admission into Andhra Pradesh, and so on. Universities like Delhi Technological University conduct DTU LEET for B.Tech Lateral Entry admission and Indraprastha University held IPU CET for the same. The other way of taking B. Tech Lateral Entry admissions 2025 is through merits in your diploma course or its equivalent. Students must note that each college has its own admission process for B.Tech LE.
