IIIT Nagpur offers scholarships to its students on a wide range. The institute provides different scholarships for students belonging to different, diverse categories. Here is a list of scholarships given by IIIT Nagpur.
NSP- Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students
The objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to those meritorious students who hail from families with low incomes. It is to aid those students in meeting a part of their day-to-day expenses while they continue pursuing higher studies. These scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of their results of Senior Secondary Examination. A number of 82,000 scholarships are awarded per year of which half are for boys and half for girls. Students pursuing graduation and postgraduation or professional courses can avail these scholarships if they satisfy the eligibility conditions. The NSP- Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students eligibility criteria is given below.
Eligibility:
The student must have scored above 80 percent in his/her class 12th exams or equivalent from the respective Board of Examination.
The student must be pursuing a regular course from a college or institution that is recognised by the UGC Act, 1956, All India Council of Technical Education, Dental Council of India, Medical Council of India, or any respective regulatory authority.
The student must not be availing any other scholarship benefits including fee waiver, scholarships run by the State, reimbursement etc.
The students pursuing diploma courses and those who are enrolled in distance learning programmes are not considered eligible for this scholarship.
The student’s family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
The scholarship is given to students belonging to reserved categories, weaker section and minorities as well. The reservation policy for this scholarship is given below.

Benefits:
The students will receive Rs. 10,000 per year for three years of graduation.
The students will get Rs. 20,000 per year for two years of post-graduation.
The students pursuing integrated courses will get Rs. 10,000 in their first three years and Rs. 20,000 in their last two years.
Students pursuing technical courses like B.Tech or B.E. will get the scholarship only till their graduation with the same rate of Rs. 10,000 per year.
Scheme of ‘Merit Cum Means Based Scholarship’ For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities:
The objective of this scholarship scheme is to provide monetary support to the poor and the meritorious students that belong to minority communities. It will help in enabling them to pursue technical and professional courses. This scholarship is awarded for studies in the country of India in both government and private institutions.
Eligibility:
The student should get admission in a technical or professional college to pursue higher education via a competitive exam.
If the student does not give a competitive exam but still gets admission in a professional or technical college, he/she must have scored at least 50 percent marks in his/her last qualifying examination.
The annual income of the student’s family should not be more that Rs. 2.50 lakhs.
The student must not be availing any other scholarship run by the government.
The student should have an authentic caste certificate to prove he/she is a minority.
Benefits:
The student will receive Rs. 20,000 per annum, both hostellers and day scholars.
A maintenance allowance will be given per month. Hostellers will get Rs. 1,000 and day scholars will get Rs. 500.
If the student belongs to one of the 85 listed institutes, his/her full fee will be reimbursed.
Scholarships for Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities:
This scholarship is primarily to help students that are physically disabled and are also pursuing a graduate, postgraduate or diploma course a recognised institute. The scholarship aims at understanding and promoting quality education among these physically handicapped students by providing them with financial support.
Eligibility:
The students diagnosed with any of the following diseases will be considered eligible for this scholarship. They should be Indian and have more than 40 percent disability.

Benefits:
All the non-refundable charges and tuition fees that are paid or are payable to the institute will be reimbursed up to Rs. 2 Lakhs annually.
The student will be reimbursed for all expenses if he/she purchases a computer along with accessories with a one-time grant of Rs. 30,000.
The student will be reimbursed for expenses of purchasing any Aids and Assistive Devices with a one-time grant of Rs. 30,000.
A maintenance allowance of Rs. 3,000 will be given to the hostellers monthly.
A maintenance allowance of Rs. 1,500 will be given to the hostellers monthly.
A book grant of Rs. 5,000 will be given to both hostellers and day scholars annually.
The students will get special allowances worth Rs. 2,000 per month.
